The title and cover of final novel in the Hunger Games trilogy has been released! Kimmy, JD, Becka, and Andrew come together in this special podcast to chat about the amazing news. This is the first Jabberjays episode to have 4 hosts, the first to be over an hour long, and the first to only take Kimmy one day to edit. (It normally takes a week or more, she was very excited!) The cover has a lot of symbolism behind it, and we think the title is just plain perfect. Not to mention, we are all feeling very lucky that the name of the book is the same as the title of our site! We share what you guys have been saying on the site about the new cover/title using your forum posts and comments. We all love our ‘Music Mondays’ so we included 2 of those as well. More info about the ‘Tick Tock – Hunger Games Parody’ lyrics contest is also announced, and more. I hope you enjoy!

Amazing podcast, you guys! I love listening to you And don’t listen to what they say about your website being disorganized. I think it’s the most organized one out there, in my opinion. I love the layout and everything. And I also love how you guys “aren’t very professional” because it makes checking it out a lot funner Basically, you guys are amazing!

Unorganized? I think that the other site, hungergamestrilogy, is a lot more unorganized. At least on my computer – the layout seems impractical. Yours is simple, yet distinguished, and isn’t too cluttered nor too empty.
Also: I’d love a T-Shirt. Too bad I’m horrible at making up lyrics. Oh well – I assume you’ll be elite soon enough to get people to buy them, and I’ll just get one that way (:

I loved this podcast! The forums really aren’t that unorganized. Especially with the recent updates, they look really good. I love using the forums myself.

Hello, I’m from Sweden so I’m sorry if my english isen’t very good
I love your website and will defently come in here again. I saw you discussing (?) the movie and who the cast will be. So I just want to say that I really love the Swedish cover of book one. Search on google at “Hungerspelen” and you will see. Thats my option about how Katniss are going to look in the movie.

JD, be warned. Keep this in mind if you are cast as Peeta for the movie. My aunt is somewhat creepy, and she is obsessed with the scene in The Hunger Games when Katniss cleans Peeta’s clothes in the river.

I only started listening to you guys on episode 6, so I need some catching up to do! Anyway I love the show. You should listen to the complaints, but only the reasonable ones that have evidence to support their reasons, it could help you improve. The silly complaints like having a, ‘unorganized site’, you should dismiss, they are just finding ways to dig at you. I was surprised to hear Andrew be on as a guest! Mannn, and I thought I had found and Andrew Sims free zone. Haha just kidding, he’s great. Anywho – Keep it up guys!

I think the third books colour reprasents blue flame…like first book black(coal) then orange and red(fire) then blue flame whitch is the most dangerous…

Noticed you guys talking about the authors names on the book, I realized that on the hunger games her name is on the right. Catching Fire, left. and Mockingjay, the middle. I wonder if that means something…

Hey i love your Podcast and its great to listen to when im bored but i only have an iPod shuffle and its kinda a pain to find which number im on because they all start with the same music. So i would really appreciate it if you could put the podcast numer on it before the music. other than that your doing great keep up the good work

I’m basically just saying what other people have said but… i think your website is the best Hunger Games fansite because (even though there was a little period of time where you didnt) now you are constantly adding new stuff – music, art, etc and i love it! and it would be AMAZING if you could get in touch with Scholastic or Suzanne Collins. you know what i would say if that happened : OMJ!!! haha. love your podcast keep it up!

I loved the podcast, just like I loved all of them.
I don’t know about where you live, but in my town Hunger games is getting big. It started in The Nerd Herd(my group of book loving friends) and has spread. We listen to the podcasts all the time.. My friend Cody makes fun of me because I’ve begged him to start another pod-cast so we could have JD as a guest.

Hey! So I am hooked on your podcast now. And I think it is great that you can get Andrew (from Mugglecast and Imprint) on with you. And in response to some concerns about t-shirts and the like in previous comments above…on the website zazzle.com there are mockingjay.net t-shirts, bags, and sweatshirts. Pretty cool huh? Din’t forget the about how they are going to fight katniss and the rebellion vs. the capital. I Am on team gale because no one really cares about him. He has been on katniss’s side for a long timesince her dad died. Also if you think aboutGale has been hurt so much so bad but ever time is there for katniss. Don’t forget to talk avout peeta in the hands of the capital I think he will try to kill himslef so he doesn’t get used agianst the katniss in battle.

Jabberjays! Thank you so much for your podcast about the cover of Mockingjay. I have just barely finished Catching Fire and I am now a true fan of the series! I think your website is a very fun place to visit to share my excitement about the books and the upcoming movie. I just would like to know where the contest things are and the music that you guys choose. Sorry I’m new to the site so it might be there right in front of my face but I don’t know :] Please post soon, I love to hear your opinions about the series because I never get to hear much from my friends because they are slow readers!
