Russian ‘The Hunger Games’ Cover

Here’s another Russian cover we haven’t seen yet! I absolutely love Katniss in this one, and I suppose that’s Gale in the background there? What do you think?

Nah i’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be gale…? But no I didn’t imagine gale to looks like that. I love Katniss though.

Well, Peeta/Gale, whoever it is back there, is freaking me out. AHHH!
And yet again, Katniss is given brown hair. Not even super dark brown. She has BLACK hair. *sigh*

The US and the German covers are better, but this one is FAR better than the original Russian cover (showing Katniss and Peeta(?) hugging in the rain).

This is a beautiful cover! I really like their clothes. P: But, yeah, I think the guy in the back is supposed to be Gale because Katniss isn’t wearing anything that looks like her mockingjay pin, so the two aren’t in the Hunger Games at that moment. All in all, that’s not Peeta. XD
I really wish people would stick to the descriptions of the characters, though.

I really wish people would show the characters as they are described in the book.
By the way it could either be Gale or Peeta… Gale because it looks like they aren’t in the arena because Katniss’ bow and arrows are supposed to be silver… Peeta because the male has a knife, The book said he was handy with his knife.

Anyway, Katniss looks ok, maybe more in her twenties than teens, but other than that it’s a nice cover.

I think the guy is Gale. I like this better than the Catching Fire cover…but I think it’s kinda weird how one is real people and one is drawn.

No offense, but is it really anyone’s concern what the Russian covers are? This is all over the fansites, but I’m sorry, I don’t get why this is so news-worthy.

They got Katniss’ face perfect, but the guy in the back looks like a creeper.

i like the way they did katniss, but the cover makes the whole thing darker than it actually is, which might scare away some readers.

Katniss’ hair is supposed to be black.. And if it is supposed to be a scene in the arena they are supposed to be dressed the same.

They’re creepy,they look alot older than 16 and i think it’s peeta in the backround because it looks like thier in the arena.

The guy in the background (Gale or Peeta? not sure) totallt looks like Remus Lupin from Harry Potter. It’s kind of freaky. Remus is to old to be Gale or Peeta!

I think that the guy in the background might be Cato.
But didn’t the Capitol do something to the male tributes before they went into the arena to prevent facial hair?

That’s a pretty cover, Katniss looks good, but I think she is ab bit more thin, isn’t she?

Mhh, in my opinion Gale do’nt look like this.. and I think it’s Gale, and you’re right he realy looks like Remus Lupin , haha
But look at the German Cover , I think thats also different from the american cover , but it’s charming. The titel is:

Peeta’s hair is blond and in waves over his forehead. The coverguy looks like it must be Gale.

The guy looks pretty old. I’m hoping it’s not Gale. And plus, Gale was barely in the Hunger Games. So it might be like Haymitch or something.
