OMG. When i first heard this, my heart broke. I’m on no team because I don’t want to get my hopes up to be crushed in the end since the events of the book is so uncertain. But, I do love Peeta; no doubt. I like Gale, but I know I prefer Peeta. So when I heard this song, I knew it was perfect for Peeta’s feelings for Katniss. & I became teary eyed! This is gorgeous Kimmy! It made me cry…and is making me cry again. It’s so deep and, maybe I’m going crazy but, it’s relateable. Love it.
I love the part “Remember the time you held your hand in mine. It felt like solitude.” It makes so much sense, cause it’s true. Sometimes being with the one you love is amazing.
Then there’s the part “And in the end
Our lives will make sense. We’ll love, we’ll bend, let’s not play pretend.” Confusion coming out to what Peeta hoped for…he shouldn’t die. Their lives will change and they’ll love because they understand themselves, their feelings, and each other’s a lot more than before.
Katniss really does love Peeta. It’s just one of those things you cab’t explain. If they actually had the time to fall in love without being forced to for life or death…
