Jodelle Ferland as Katniss for Halloween

No matter who they pick for the part, There will always be pissed off fans who will say the Katniss actress is awful. But you can’t please everyone, it’s pretty impossible. So can we just stop putting down every acterss out there? Our voices might not even be heard for the casting. It’s not our choice! In the meantime, can we focus on all the great things and topics about the books? I find that much more interesting than ragging on every 12-18 year old actress who might have a chance. I mean, COME ON PEOPLE!!! FOCUS ON THE BIG PICTURE!!

Not bad but she’s not quite right.

someone said she looks too doll like and not like a teenager who could kill…? uhm I kinda think someone didn’t really get that that was the whole shocking thing about the book…think she’s ok…
I just think it’s amazing how no actress is allowed to discover the book just now, read it, and say they’re a huge fan. Somehow everyone seems to think they’re all liars (except for their favorite actress) who just want the role/money.

She’s a Twilight actor, Stephenie Meyer even wrote an own book about Jodelle’s Twilight Character, and I think that’s enough for her! End!

Would all the “Kaya should be Katniss” super fans stop saying bad things about every other actress? Just because they’re not Kaya, doesn’t mean they can’t be a better Katniss. I personally think everyone could be a little more open to new things. And what was that about her lying about getting the script? Why would she do that? (I don’t think Kaya should play Katniss.)

People, PLEASE just stop bitching about every actress thats not Kaya.

jodelle would fit perfect as the role of katniss because if you seen any of the work she has done… you gotta admit shes perfect. plus all you people who are saying just because she was in on little part of eclipse that means she cant be in this. but come on get a life. shes has all the features long DARK braid that kaya girl has brown hair the last time i checked. duhhh. and she is 16 not 14 or 20.
plus if you dont give her a chance youll never no.

Just because someone can look the part does not mean they can act the part. I don’t think Jodelle can act.
