I have yet to watch the video. Judging by the comments, it sounds like I’ll love it. But to be honest, I really don’t want to see so many videos. I used to love getting on this site but now all it is is the videos and songs and cast ideas. Don’t get me wrong, those things are great. But I really just wanna see fanart

WOW! Besides the fact that the girl who plays Katniss kinda reminds me of Lindsy Lohan, I am absolutely in love with this.
This is the reason FANS should be the ones making the movies, not big budget directors who want to “Hollywoodize” certain movies.
I certainly have faith that we will get a great movie for THG, but just saying in general–look at what happened with Eragon and how crummy that came out.

Wow. I usually don’t find fan-made movies very believable or to have good actors, but this was VERY impressive. I thought all of them did a great job. And watching this, I was reminded of how in the book Katniss was just so alone and exposed with that bright orange backpack. This made me remember how I felt reading the book. Love it!

This is the best mock clip I have seen yet. The others made me want to gag and laugh all at the same time. This one was actually really good, they could have done better with make up and clothing – some of the make up was way over done and the clothes was a little to common and too much of our time for the hunger games – but other than that i loved this clip … good job

I have seen so many fan made videos to where my folks call me a video addict and this the most AMAZING and BEST job i have EVER seen HANDS DOWN!!! That girl should TOTALLY play Katniss!!! There’s no words, no affection to describe how touching this is. Honestly, I can’t imagine the real movie to do better. Everything about it was just so… Real. It’s been five minutes since I watched the video and I’m honestly still crying. This absolutely touched my heart no video or even the books has ever done. The actors and actresses were just so wonderful. Whoever this girl is, please audition for Katniss… Please. Everyone was amazing — the director, the stylist, the costume designer, everyone. While this is a “fan made” movie the actors in it are actually real actors with resumes. If you look up the actresses playing Katniss, Rue, and Clove then they each have an IMDB page and they all have quite a bit of experience in the entertainment industry.
Not that I’m trying to discount the awesomeness of this clip because I’m not! I’m just saying that its more professional then you think. And I did actually really like the girl playing Katniss. She looked good for the part. And she acted it well too. I definitely think she should get an audition after this.

i really don’t think the makeup was overdone, i mean think about it. this scene was after a bunch of stuff happened, after fires and after bombs and after big battles and rolling around in leaves and dirt and blah blah. after she was stung by the tracker jackers and all kinds of other stuff. i think they were just the right amount of filthy for all they had been through.

1. This is to most amazing thing I have seen this year!
2. This proves something when it when it comes to the choice of the actress for Katniss, that you can’t judge the actresses suggested because of what they look like. If someone had suggested Danielle Chuchran for Katniss before this, everyone would have flipped and bashed her completely, i mean she is a white, blond and sweet looking girl, not like Katniss at all, who is olive skined, dark hair and harsh looking. But clearly she would be perfect for Katniss!!!!!! I hope this makes people more opened minded about possible choices for actresses for Katniss, cause it is pretty annoying reading comments bashing how the girl looks. It is all about the ACTING, thats the whole point of being an actresses. The make-up department, wardrobe ect are all there to make the actress look like the character. You could get a girl who looked ecactly like of SC wanted Katniss to look, but she could not portray her well, and you could get a girl like Danielle Chuchran who looks nothing like her in real life, but with make-up and a wig can look like her and can portray her perfectly. Point is, their are heaps of brilliant actors out there perfect for Katniss but may not look like her, but we should all be more open to them, like Danielle

Personally, i loved the rue and katniss actresses, loved the songs, and didn’t really care about the pin. I will say the katniss wig was kind of bad, but it wasn’t that noticeable if you didn’t know she is a blonde. I agree with you that John Klyde should sssssooooooo direct the movie though.

Stunning. Incredible. Unbelievable. Amazing. Perfect. I’m still crying. Usually, fan-made videos of this type make me want to laugh because it’s so cheesy, but this was hard-core believable. They got every detail perfect. The orange backpack. The boy pulling out the arrow. They weren’t afraid to have blood. The girl playing Katniss can actually sing, and it wasn’t perfect. It was uneven and her voice was breaking, as if she was really crying. I hope to see more scenes from them (possibly the whole movie!)

I love this!!! This is just awesome. This and that mockingjay trailer the other day are the best hunger game things I’ve seen so far. As for Daniella playing Katniss…I’d be ok with it. I’d be ok with a lot of people playing Katniss right now but I really want the best possible actress to do it. I want them to really make sure that they get that and hold really good auditions and everything.

I just watched this for the millionth time and I still get chills whenever I watch it. Bravo! I hope Danielle and Savanna can be in the movie as Katniss and Rue or Prim, because I have YET to see the other running candidates for the roles make me cry so much.

i don’t care if the actress is really blonde because her performance was amazing. this whole video was perfect. i hope the movie is as good as this. the only problem i had was the actress for rue because she was blonde and white. they got a wig for katniss. why didn’t they get one for her too? better as prim. besides that, the acting was amazing and i though the actress for rue was still very talented

This was really good! Although I dont see how its a fanmade video. Most fans dont have a 5,000 dollar camera and their own boom and production equipment. This is more of a production not a pan made video. Still they did an amazing job!!

Wow. That was just totally amazing. I really hope the official Hunger Games will be like this. The scene of Katniss & Rue was one of the most saddest moments from the series. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Not that i didn’t like the clip, because it was AMAZING!! but there were several things wrong with this
1) Rue isn’t white! even if she isn’t black(which is how i picture her) she isn’t blonde
2) Glimmer is blonde. in this video she looks VERY dark skinned and has black hair
3) GLIMMER IS DEAD!!! she died which is the only reason Katniss has the bow!!! why is she alive and chasing some boy in the beginning of the movie?

how weird is that, while i read this trilogy i was listening to linkin park’s new album over and over. And they chose a song from the album as the opening song. Haha. Strange but true.

I still have goosebumps and am bawling right now. That movie was really good. I didn’t know that this is what it takes to make an amazing short film. I wished it went on longer to show her winning, to prove that she did. OMG, that was the best Hunger Games fan-made movie EVER!!!!!

I LOVE THIS!!! I waz so suprised it wasn’t part of the movie. The song at the end was Iridescent by linkin park (that’s how you spell it) this made me cry. it’s so sad and beautiful at the same time!
