I really like Jennifer Lawrence, I think she’s going to do a great job. I’m curious to see her after the makeover. Same for Josh. I like him, he wasn’t my first pick, but I’m ok with it, I already got used to the idea of having him as Peeta.
And, by the way, I think it’s a good fan art.

Hmm…. Jennifer Lawrence is really throwing me off this movie. I don’t think her look can change so much that i’d be content with her image as Katniss.

I love it! I want to see those two together asap… Nothing to do unfortunately…still 11 1/2 months to go…
I wonder when we’re going to find out who Haymitch is… and Prim… and Katniss’m mom… and president Snow… I don’t have many favorites, I don’t want to get attached to anyone, I’m keeping an open mind… But I would sort of like to see Gerald Butler play Haymitch, he’s got that crazy/weird presence that can turn to surprisingly kind and smart sometimes… RDJ looks a lot more… boyish, he doesn’t seem to have suffered too much in his life… But we’ll see…

You know I love Jennifer for Katniss and I’m liking Josh for Peeta, but together they still don’t gel in a picture. Separately I like them, but it’s still not working for me when you put them together in a pic. Hopefully come movie time it works.

I love Josh in this, he really looks like Peeta and he can act otherwise he wouldn’t be in the role! Jenifer, she does need a makeover and she won’t look exactly like my mental Katniss but she should be able to bring the charactor to life like none of the other actresses could! That is Yara Shahidi (it also says so on the artist’s website). I agree she looks young in this picture, but I think she looks younger than she is anyway, and in the book it says Rue looks about ten even though she’s twelve. Go Yara for Rue!

I can see Jen as Katniss but I don’t like Josh as Peeta and I can see them as a couple. I wish they would have searched a little bit more even though they had to put the premier off. I’m not overprotective about Gale so I kinda accept Liam as gale.However I will never see them as my beloved characters just because a lazy casting was made by very greedy people.

looks good- could use some photoshop on hair and stuff. also i agree with “jordan”- thats why i didn’t want josh! he looks to babyfaced for peeta… i’m serious. and “yourmom” is also correct that girl looks six- also a problem for Madison Pettis as Rue. she’s 12, but looks somewhere between the ages of 8-10, plus she is known for the sweet, little girl roles- Rue is too kick- ass for her… or maybe not? (hey actors in movies aren’t in the movies for nothing!)

That is Yara Shahidi.
Yara has always been absolutely perfect for Rue to me ever since I first saw pictures of her when I found out there was a fan base. This picture seems to be of her when she is much younger though. She does look like Rue’s age now.
