Liam Hemsworth At ‘Thor’ Premiere
Last night, May 2, was the premiere of the latest superhero movie Thor. Liam Hemsworth was in attendance to support his brother who was cast in the role of Thor.
“Thor himself Chris Hemsworth posed with his look-a-like little brother Liam Hemsworth, who was recently cast as Gale in the highly-anticipated “Hunger Games” movie.”
Thor comes to theaters Friday May 6th.

I never thought it would happen, but he’s starting to grow on me a little. He’s not at all how I pictured Gale but I think there’s potential there.

He might be 2 years older than Gale, but the guy could pass for way older. He needs to be…Idk. A little thinner, not so buffed up, he needs to freakin shave, and not look so much like an adult. I mean he could easily pass for 27-28.
It doesn’t matter how old they actually are, it matters how old they LOOK. And Liam…The guy just cannot pass for a 17 or 18 year-old. It has been too long since I’ve read the books…How old is Gale again???

Gale is 18 in the first book, but he was also described as looking like a man when Katniss first met him in the woods (he was actually 14). So I’ve always imagined Gale as looking mature for his age.
I think Liam could pass if he’d just shave.

I never really cared for Gale, so I guess anyone could have played him without upsetting me… But I think Liam is a cool guy and I expect he will do the movie justice… Not to mention how many fins will be swooning after him after the film shows up. It will be Robert pattinson all over again!
He’ll obviously be clean shaven for the movie. I hope he grows his hair out a little more though, I always pictured Gale with longish hair. I was kinda meh about him being Gale at first but now I’m excited to see what he’s going to look like. I have hope for him.
