We need some news about the romance scenes..have they started filming any yet?..what are the actors thoughts about it?

Okay seriously?? The whole team thing is gonna happen? Plz don’t turn this into Twilight:p We all know that Bella ends up with Edward and we all know that Katniss ends up with Peeta. I know your opinion of who they end up might be different, but you can’t change it. So please dont start this whole “team” thing and start fights.

Just to clear everything up on peoples thoughts or opinions on this Peeta/Josh picture, it’s not real. This picture is just a manipulation; someone photoshopped a regular brown hair Josh Hutcherson and changed his hair to blonde in this picture. This is not a real picture of what he looks like as Peeta. I don’t think they have released any real footage or pictures of Josh as Peeta, but when they do, I’m sure it will look like how the book described him and what we imagined.

I seriously fell in love with him in Bridge to Terabithia. He played his part so well! I haven’t seen any of his recent films, but if he got the high fives from Suzanne Collins, there’s nothing for me to complain about.

IF they make his hair blond, wouldn’t we’ve seen some pictures? Because I think they’ll only make his hair slightly lighter.

HE LOOKS SO MUCH HOTTER AS A BLONDE COMPARED TO A BRUNETTE!! and plus, he is a great actor. he started out as a child actor in Bridge to Terribithia. and he was in Journey to the Center of the Earth. hes been in lots of movies, so if the director of those movies wanted him to be in those movies, obviously hes a good actor.

Sorry guys but his hair was described in the books as ashy blond. Ash blond is a very pale shade of blond (merriam webster dictionary). Blond enough to make his eyelashes so blond that you regularly wouldn’t notice them(catching fire page 161).If you goggle “josh hutcherson on the hunger games set” images you will see pics of josh (even a video in the pop sugar site) with his hair dyed brown about to film the reaping scenes. Unless they used a blond wig on him (which I doubt since the stand ins casting required a dark blond or light brown boy for Peeta) this is all the blond he will look. No possible changes since they have already filmed the reaping scenes and the return of district 12 after the games.

It’s not that bad but still is a huge departure of what the book describes. Yeah I know that movie makers change things all the time like Emma Watson in harry potter was supposed to have bigger teeth and had to dye his hair or dudley who wasn’t blond and Tom elton had to dye his hair. It’s just that in HP movies the cast was so well done, the storyline so faithful to the book that you didn’t mind minor changes.Plus color hair didn’t indicate social status as it does in the hunger games books. Prim giving the mockingjay to katniss, Katniss not being young looking, petite nor starving, Peeta not having blond wavy hair nor having a stocky build are major changes, that affect the dynamics of the interaction of the characters.

According to the novel seam people with their NOT TANNED but natural olive skin, BLACK straight hair and gray eyes were starving and had to endure the worst of the poor living conditions of the districts under the hard dictatorship that was Panem government. They starved so much that they had to sign up for tessarae with all the risks this implied. The merchant people with their really blond hair and blue eyes had a better life, not as good as the one of capitol citizens but better enough to generate Gale’s somehow rude remark to Madge at the beginning of the book and Katniss defending her saying it’s not her fault. A huge message of social/racial segregation and hard living conditions will be missed or effed in the movie. Physical appearance also indicate if you belong to the capitol, the poorest districts or the wealthier districts. Caring about looks is not shallow when it comes to the hunger games because the physical appearance had a lot of social connotations.

And don’t start with me that acting is more important. It’s not impossible to have both.

Google josh hutcherson on the hungergames set to see what was the final result of his hair dye. I doubt his hair will be blonder than that since those pics are from the reaping scene filming. Or maybe they used a wig? Or they will have portia dying his hair more to the parade?

I know to me it just looks like a curvy 30 year old being thrown in to kill a bunch of teenage tributes… and casting did that. She looks way older than the majority of the others cast. She was also supposed to be tomboyish — and remember not necessarily attractive… “She doesn’t know the affect she has on people” Jesus if i looked like jennifer lawrence no matter how much Entertain Tonight reported she “uglied up for this film”I would definately know the influence I had on people.

I know that peeta is supposed to have wavy/curly hair. But You know when your reading that you sometimes picture a character slightly different from the description. Well the Peeta I pictured is right at the top of this screen. I’m just really insanely excited for this to happen now!!!!!

I’ve always loved his acting skills and was so excited when he was picked. The thought of him being Peeta had never occurred to me, but when I read that he had been chosen I was like, “Oh, wow. I can totally see that.” This picture just proves that he has the looks to match the talent and I’m even more excited now. Go, Josh!

I know that in the hunger games katniss never mentions that the male tributes grow beards during the games, but they don’t exactly have razors in the arena to shave with… do you think peeta will have stubbles in the movie??

When i read the books i pictured Lucas Till but i think Josh Hutcherson will do a great job

He looks almost exactly like the Peeta I pictured in my mind when I read the series, he just needs longer hair (which of course can be fixed). Even the shape of his face seems perfect, I imagined the same square jawbone.

In the trailer on the train and everything he looks perfect he is so freaking cute i want to marry him someday

I have always loved Josh Hutcherson, as an actor, and a person.. And I’ve been obsessed with the Hunger Games since they came out a few years ago, I literally know everything about them… All of the characters they chose for this movie are amazing! Katniss: have you seen her shooting her arrows?!?! SO PERFECTLY KATNISS EVERDEEN! Peeta: Painting… perfectly Peeta… Romantic? Hutcherson has already caprtured the hearts of so many teenage girls!<3 I could go on about all the characters.. but I won't;) Ate any rate, please please PLEASE!!!! don't make this into Twilight!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of you shallow people who keep going, Team Peeta! Team Gale!… GET OVER IT!
