i always imagined finnick as like 19-21… i like this guy! he has the cocky smile, tan skin, and slim features i pictured for finnick.. its actually creepy how similar he is to my mental picture! i wouldnt mind alex pettyfer for fin though

He’s too innocent looking to me and rather boyish. I imagined Finick being a tad boyish but mostly jaded. Somebody who could look weary and wise later on when you crack his character. I think they need somebody older.

I think it should be Ben Stone. I like the idea of an unknown for the role. A lot of the actors suggested are too identified with other franchises or shows. I don’t think it would work. Plus, Jennifer Lawrence has the best chemistry with the Brits (look at Nicholas Hoult). Give Ben Stone a chance. He is on the Nine Lives of Chloe King, which is on ABC Family at 9pm on Tuesdays and I can tell you he has that cocky guy down. He also knows how to do an American accent.

I totally agree that Benjamin Stone would be perfect for the part of Finnick Odair. It is because when they describe Finnick in the books the first actor to come to mind was Benjamin Stone. Not only does he have the look but can also do the personality that Finnick is and appears to be. An example would be that his character of Alek in The Nine Lives of Chloe King is similiar to Finnick Odair from his flirt womanizer to his good guy who wants the Hunger Games gone and who also loves Annie Cresta. BENJAMIN STONE IS A PERFECT MATCH FOR FINNICK ODAIR!!!!!

i don’t know why the heck you are saying that he is too old for Finnick. If any of you ACTUALLY READ THE BOOKS you would know that Finnick is 24. Benjamin Stone just had his 25th birthday. HE’S THE SAME AGE AS THE CHARACTER. It could not be more perfect. Plus Ben is reeeeaaallly sexy. But also a good actor.

yeah! he’s just perfect for Finnick! when i read the book…and Finnick’s character was introduced i just automatically imagined Benjamin Stone playing it! I don’t know…probably because of that scene when he offers Katniss a sugar cube..and it was kind of like his character in Nine Lives of Chloe King which he really pulls it off btw..
