 Lionsgate has just confirmed with us that The Hunger Games trailer, which will be making its online debut on iTunes Movie Trailers shortly after its Good Morning America debut, will be shown in theaters around the world with Breaking Dawn Part 1. The Twilight film, which is the second to the last film of the franchise, will be premiering on November 18. |

Why do people always need to hate on Twilight? There are people who are fans of BOTH (myself included). LG knows they can tap into the Twilight fanbase so of course they are going to do that. I know some fans don’t like it, but from a marketing standpoint it is SPOT ON. |

It’s so annoying when people try to compare the two series. They are two way different series that should not be compared at all. Same thing with Twilight and Harry Potter, and the Hunger Games and Harry Potter. I happen to be a fan of both series, with Twilight as my first love. And I still have room for the Hunger Games (: I LOVE how they’re showing the trailer before, it’s gonna be an awesome day! |

I can’t wait to see this! My husband, who thinks I have a crazy reading hobby but loves it too, is getting annoyed at how long I’ve went on about lovin these books and then being so excited talking about how the movie will be but all he’s saw so far to show for all my talk is, as he said, “a girl walking around the woods.” Finally something for people who haven’t read the books for then to see why we are so excited for the movies! And as for the twilight comparisons….. Disappointing…. I’d lump it more as the next Harry Potter-esque craze coming on since those are leaving us |

I am ecstatic! I’ve been trying to get my mother to read the books (she’s battling breast cancer and needs something to read during radiation) so when she goes with me to BD she’ll be forced to see the trailer. That should hook her! |

Well, iTunes and YouTube will prevent me from having to buy a ticket to a movie I won’t watch, but from a marketing standpoint pairing HG with Twilight is pretty smart. I may not like Twilight, but there’s bound to be some portion of that fanbase that has no idea what HG is. |

I’m going to see BD twice next week, one on wedensday (November 16-17) and the official premiere the 18 (friday) i REALLY hope the THg trailer will be played at the preview premiere that i’m, going to (BD). |
