If you thought those huge character posters on display at your local cinema was cool, wait til you see how theaters in Singapore go about showing how much they love ‘The Hunger Games’. At the Cathay, a theater in Singapore, you can pay $5 to go stand in their Hunger Games snowglobe and get your picture taken. You can also turn in a $5 coupon for Hunger Games poker cards and they have a gigantic wall sign saying “May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor”. Awesome!

I hope something like this is going tobe in Slovakia, too. Ah well, being a small country, we have to pay for it now. I hope at least the movie is going to be released in the same date as in the USA: :(

I’ve been to Singapore! It is totally awesome. Everything is like, super-sized there. I went to a mall that had 7 floors! I guess the movie advertising is bigger there, too. Only problem is, the Singaporean (if that’s even a word) government censors movies. It may not be the best place to see The Hunger Games. But other than that, Singapore=spectacular!

@Team Primrue
I’ve been there too! It was really hot there, as well as big and it was like having a city in the middle of a forest because there were so many trees! I didn’t have enough time to go to any huge malls, though. :( Only for a few minutes to get into the air conditioning. :L It would probably be amazing to see The Hunger Games there. Though not if they censor it. :/

@TEAM PRIMRUE

Watched US DVD versions of movies like Harry Potter and I don’t remember any difference from those I had watched in cinemas in Singapore. I don’t think they will censor The Hunger Games actually. I can’t think of a reason why they would. >.<

========================================

I had went there and it's very cool indeed! Very well worth the 5 bucks. Get to go into the snow globe and take a photo memento as well as collect The Hunger Games poker cards all for only 5 bucks!

By the way, The Cathay is a shopping mall. It's owned by Cathay Organization which also houses Cathay Cineplexes (local cinema chain) as well as Cathay-Keris Films (local distributor for The Hunger Games movie). =D
