District 12 Drop Biscuits

After reading about lots of different grains, I eventually decided that rye was a better candidate for ration grain. I bought a grain mill, rye berries, and goat milk and made my own rye flour to make District 12 drop biscuits, the ones that Katniss describes as “dense, flat” bread that they make at home. These not the greatest tasting things in the world, but that’s kind of the point, since the Everdeens didn’t have things like sugar or butter or baking powder. Read the full post at Fictional Food.

@scatterbrained We’ve seen it, but we don’t post the leaked stuff out of professional courtesy to Lionsgate. They wouldn’t want the movie seen in grainy shots like that and we respect that.

These look kind of nice tasting in a very strange way. XD I believe what you say about them but I still feel I’d like to try them.
