MTV Exclusively Reveals the Hunger Games Adventures Poster
MTV has revealed the poster for the Facebook-based video game Hunger Games Adventures, which will be set for release the same day as the movie on March 23.
The Hunger Games Adventures allows players to create their own avatars (we’re already predicting scads of I<3Peeta and GaleRocks usernames) to embark on a Panem-wide mission, beginning in District 12 (where you may even rub shoulders with Katniss and the baker's son), unlocking portions of the official map as you go. Yes, that's right; this will be your first look at the official map of Panem. You know, just in case you're in the midst of planning your next dystopian holiday.
It’s also worth noting that your avatar will not be entering the Arena in this gaming experience—all of the missions are brand new!

i probably won’t play the game (i’m not much of a gamer and i don’t use facebook all that much) but i really love the idea of them unveiling the official map of panem via interaction with the fans. really great marketing there!
and the announcement itself made me laugh so much– “i <3 peeta" and "galerocks"? the sarcasm is appreciated, MTV.

Katniss in the picture looks more like Natalie Portman than Jennfer Lawrence. It’s an awesome picture nontheless. The game sounds like fun! I’m looking forward to it!!
I like the Katniss animation, it looks more like the Katniss I imagined then the Katniss Lionsgate has(but don’t get me wrong, J-Laws a pretty Josh-dang good Katniss, I just think she’s a little too old and, well, curvy…)

I’m sorry but shouldn’t the main character of the game look at least a fraction like Kantiss?
I actually think it looks like Jennifer. The only huge difference is her eyes are bigger giving her a younger appearance.
I would just like to point out that Katniss doesn’t necessarily look like Jennifer. Jennifer is only portraying Katniss on the big screen. The drawings are what Katniss ACTUALLY looks like. Suzanne Collins had pictures drawn of what Katniss and Peeta are supposed to look like.
Bottom line, Jennifer isn’t REALLY Katniss, so depictions of her don’t really have to look like her.
I’m going to go create a Facebook …..not for friends though just to play the game lol jk!
