GIVEAWAY: Beta Codes for Facebook Game ‘Hunger Games Adventures’
If you’ve been looking forward to playing the Facebook game ‘Hunger Games Adventures’ we’ve got great news for you! Below the cut you’ll see more screenshots of the game that is sure to keep many of you occupied once it launches and you’ll be able to enter to win a beta code from Mockingjay.net and Lionsgate! I had a chance to try out the Beta version over the weekend and found myself addicted to it very quickly.
The art is cute and you can easily see the resemblance of each of the characters, the most accurate of which I thought was Haymitch’s character (who you can see above).
The basic premise after you get your character dressed is that you head out to your “home” in the woods, which is where you build up your home base, as is commonplace with Facebook games. It’s called your “Forest Escape” and you can harvest from these items (just like in the crack addict game Farmville). You do little quests like gathering food with Gale, burning bread at Mellark’s bakery, milking a goat, and distracting Peacekeepers, using energy as you go along. With coins you earn, you can unlock areas of your Forest Escape to have more trees to chop and rocks to pick up. In some areas, you have to fight off mutts!
When I first played, there was no music, which was a bummer since I tend to associate my Facebook game addictions with the sound that plays. Now though, the music has been added in and even though I’m stuck in my Forest Escape because I’ve reached max level, I love what’s been playing. Even better, the music playing is the score from the movie itself, as I heard the music we hear in Katniss’ Gamemaker session, when she shoots the apple out of the pig’s mouth! How awesome is that?

I havent really played any FaceBook games, so probably the interacting with the characters and that you have (judging by the photos) Haymitch, Katniss and Peeta in there
I love Facebook games because you don’t need to buy an expensive platform to play them, like an XBox or a Wii. What excites me about this game is to see te HG world and be a small part of it (safely) lol
I like how real the games seem – like wheel of fortune – and how addicting they are!
I love when Charectors and players have a real storyline and not the mindless “Get this many friends to join ” games. The fun for me comes from bein avble to interact with others but not having to friend them and put them on lists and spam facebook constantly with “You have an invite” to hundreds of people on my list. I love when games work like onlin MMPORGs.
I like games that let you interact with people but don’t force you to add them or spam stuff, more like the MPORG style . And Some facebook games like Galactica are good with this .
I love the quest element of Facebook games. It sounds silly, but figuring out the puzzle and completing the challenge makes me feel good.
I think my favorite part about Facebook games is just the fact that they are on Facebook and you can play with your friends and compete with them! (:

the fact that makes facebook games so addictive is there’s always task to come back to and complete. Not to mention its more fun when all your friends are playing too!

Am I the only who got stuck in the main quest that requires a tree branch? My tree branch seems to go missing after I had connection error T ^ T
I like the fact that Facebook games are something both my teenaged son and I can enjoy and then talk about. Much like the Hunger Games books, FB games give us a common interest and a topic of conversation. That sort of thing is scarce and precious as our kids grow up!

I am really excited about the game because THG is the BEST MOVIE I”VE EVER SEEN and I can’t wait to see the characters and how they are created and i want to be a part of it ( but only in the game ) Haha

Well i read to relax and escape my own hectic reality, The Hunger Games is the trilogy that i seemed to read the most, and playing the game will be just as fun!!
I love in some games you can interact with other people on your friends list and visit them. I like in this game how you don’t need energy to do EVERYTHING!

What I love about the Hunger Games game on Facebook is seeing the characters and interacting with them
I love the movie. It gets me ready. I love the books. Their music choice was so great. I hate reading, but when I read the Hunger Games to go see the movie it was really good and I could just not put the book down. I love how detail it is. Katniss is my favroite character. I am team Peeta but I have nothing againt Gale. I like them both but I love Peeta!

I loooove this game!! I am so addicted to it! I play it multiple times a day!:) I like the quests the most. I was wondering how to send gifts to friends. Does anyone know? Because I need the Capitol Seal and my friend can’t figure out how to send them:( If you like HG, you’ll like this game!!
