this is a great spot. it’s funny how they’re fine with showing arena action and plot points now that the movie’s out.

I know they wanted to keep the whole arena thing under wraps but I think this was so much more engaging than the official trailer.

I was one of those few people who didn’t really like the film but just seeing this makes me reconsider.

This is a good trailer. My mom wants to see it so I’ll be taking her tomorrow for her birthday … it will be my 3rd time haahah.

Also: My coworker (who has never read the books) told me today, “Oh I saw Hunger Games it was AWESOME!!” She was asking all these questions about what happens in the next two books too. :)

Yeah, I don’t think they’re the best books/movie/album out there, but it’s great to see Hunger Games get some recognition. Just hope that it doesn’t turn into twilight; it’s already getting it’s fair share of haters.

It makes perfect sense that they’re showing the arena stuff. This is how movie marketing works.

Before the movie, they kept things secret so that the people really anticipating it wouldn’t be spoiled. (This include book readers – even though we know what happens we don’t know exactly how they translated it on screen). But all those fans will have seen it opening weekend. Now their target is people who weren’t so interested in seeing it, who might be drawn in by the movie’s success as well as the glimpses of action. And also people who have seen it once, to get them to see it again.
