Leven Rambin, Willow Shields and Dayo Okeniyi to appear at Melbourne Oz Comic-Con
Aussie Hunger Games fans rejoice – we are finally getting to see some of the stars! The Oz Comic-Con line-up for Melbourne includes stars Leven Rambin, Willow Shields and Dayo Okeniyi and takes place on Saturday the 30th of June and Sunday the 1st of July 2012.
Leven is the only actress/actor from ‘The Hunger Games’ appearing on the guest page but dedicated fans can purchase ‘The Games Experience’ package for the full works. There is also a dinner package available, which includes a 3 course meal and two hours with the stars (no autographs or photos allowed though).
The Games Experience package includes:
- Weekend entry
- 1 autograph from each of the three attending Hunger Games stars; Willow Shields (Primrose Everdeen), Leven Rambin (Glimmer) and Dayo Okeniyi (Thresh).
- 1 professional group photo featuring you and the three attending Hunger Games stars; Willow Shields (Primrose Everdeen), Leven Rambin (Glimmer) and Dayo Okeniyi (Thresh).
- Reserved seating in the exclusive Hunger Games panel.
- Oz Comic-Con Melbourne TV/film souvenir DVD (filmed and produced by Turncoat Studios).
- Please note that while you can choose Saturday or Sunday for The Games Experience tickets, the listed day only applies to the day you can redeem your included autographs and photograph. The included weekend entry entitles you to attend the event on both days, and to attend the exclusive The Hunger Games panel on Sunday 1st July (there is no exclusive The Hunger Games panel on Saturday 30th June).
At $350 a ticket it certainly isn’t cheap, but is limited to 100 places on Saturday and Sunday, so if you are keen and have the cash then you’d better get in quick. I have purchased my package so will bring you the full scoop after the event!

I still think I’m totally crazy for purchasing the experience, but it sounds like Leven is the only one roaming the floor and I didn’t want to miss out on the chance to meet Willow and Dayo either! (especially if we don’t get a CF premiere and I can’t get overseas for theirs)
Plus, I can’t wait for the exclusive panel!
I did read somewhere too that you can take a personal item to be autographed instead of the provided 8 x 10 photo, just that it has to be approved by staff there. I think I’ll stick to the photos so I can have them framed 
Can’t wait for this! Do you know what the Hunger Games panel is going to feature? Price is a bit steep – hopefully it’s not sold out by the time I buy it!
Not sure about the panel Wormow – the website doesn’t mention anything else about it, and the schedule of events/appearances/etc isn’t due to come out until June 18…
But either way, it does sound pretty exciting!
Hey guys, just thought i’d let you know the Hunger Games panel will likely be a Q&A session with the 3 guests where the audience get to ask the actors anything they want to know. Also if you break the pricing down, buying the package is definitely the cheaper option!

I figured as much with the panel – I have never been to a Comic Con but I know they are huge in America and usually feature many of those kinds of panel interviews. My brain has already been feverishly trying to think of things to ask lol

Wow I’m ridiculously jealous! Hopefully some of the cast will come over to the UK, though if it’s that expensive then I’m gonna have to say no, no matter how much I love the hunger games, I’m not paying THAT much.
