Here’s a really sweet song written and performed by @SamiGreenwood called ‘As the World Catches Fire’. The video quality isn’t the greatest, but it’s still a very pretty song! What do you all think? I think T-Bone should line her up for the next companion album!

Its a great song for sure.But I feel that movie soundtrack songs really have nothing to do with the movie.Like the songs from the hunger games album have nothing to do with it.The songs sound good with the woodsy thing but catching fire is more like the capitol.great and all but not fit for the soundtrack

@sydney i see where your coming from but i think the beauty of this song is that although it was inspired by catching fire, its not limited to only catching fire. i pay a great amount of attention to the words i choose to use and this entire thing is really an extended metaphor, i wasnt strictly referring to catching fire but to any situation where two people who most people believe wouldnt last fight the odds and try to last together anyway… you get what im trying to say?
and to everyone who says they would buy this itunes, trust me, i really wish you could cuz this is definitely what i want to be doing with my life :3

Sami, you got to find a way to get this song out into the world, at least onto ITunes. Cause I’m sure, once the creators of ‘Catching Fire’ hear this song, they will want it.

That was so good. You know how Taylor Swift did Safe and Sound, which wasn’t specifically made for The Hunger Games but it fit the bill? That song and your voice is perfect for the Catching Fire soundtrack. I don’t know where you live but I know in Michigan, there aren’t many opportunities so make sure you keep your eye out and take an opportunity. That’s what I did and now I am taking Honors Geometry and Honors English in the 8th grade. About 2 feet shorter than everyone else though:).
Oh, and my band teacher always says that you shouldn’t cross your legs like that in order to get maximum breath. Crossing ankles is fine though. Just a suggestion, might not even be a problem for you.
