Voting Opens for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards

Voting has been open I vote for Hunger Games every day for a half hour

I don’t know about you guys but I really like the fact that these two heroes are placed side by side, equal rulers of my heart. Hurray to Harry and happy birthday to Katniss! The Girl on Fire and the Boy who Lived indeed.

It’s been open since last Tuesday, I been voting all week long.

Just had to vote for the Ron/Hermione kiss though! It took 10 years of my life waiting for 2 kids to grow up to get that one! How many times in the history of cinema have we waited 10 years for a couple to get together?

Sorry Harry Potter has to win! I have been a fan of HP a lot longer than Hunger Games. SORRY!

@Crystal. I guess it does not matter what day to vote as long as people vote. I love Harry Potter but I never read the books at all. I was never into the books, i got bored. but I was a big Twilight Fan, But now, I will choose The Hunger Games over anything. Team Hunger Games

This is difficult for me! I’ve grown up with Harry Potter. But I love the Hunger Games… I’m leaning towards HP right now.

Of course I voted for Hunger Games! The best movie of all time, in my opinion. Tons better than Harry Potter and Twilight.

It’s a tough pick for best movie, I personally thought Hunger Games was better but HP was the last film, I will vote later, I don’t even want to bother voting for kiss, because odds are twihards will go crazy to make sure they win that one, I think I will have to split my votes between K+P and R+H, I will probably vote 4 times at most.JenL by far deserves best actress, if she loses it will be a tragedy.

for all you saying that you have to vote for harry potter because its the last one and hunger games has 3 more coming out well harry potter had 7 movies already out and this is there 8 (part 2 of 7) Hunger Games only has 3 movies/books so maybe they should win because there are only 3 instead of having seven/eight movies

I voted for Ron/Hermione for Best Kiss…it’s the last one they NEED to win. Katniss and Peeta will get Best Kiss for Catching Fire, I’m sure of it. However I did vote THG for everything else!

I am going to vote for Harry Potter because it is the last one and those books will always be my favorite (hunger games is a close second) I don’t like twilight though Stephanie doesn’t spell some words right in her books

Voted purely HG loyalty. It looks like the MTV awards is mostly a competition between Twilight, Harry Potter, and Hunger Games fans though………..but their is no way Bella and Edward are not going to win Best Kiss.

I would pick Harry Potter, since it’s the last movie. But I would vote for Catching Fire and Mockingjay when they come out.

Or you know…we could all vote for Harry Potter which is in it’s last run…deserves some recognition, and without with we probably wouldn’t have a Hunger Games Movie to begin with.

Ahhh, Harry Potter & Deathly Hallows Part 2 was pretty epic but going on movies, not books… The Hunger Games was superior. So I would vote Hunger Games.

i am truly a harry potter fan, but i think movie-wise, HG is way better that HP…this just brings back too many disappointments with the HP movies, although i can understand they can’t put 700+ pages of HP to a 2.5-hour movie. I’m a fan of the 3 book franchises, but Hunger games is the best book-to-movie adaptation ever! so im voting for that one

B-but how can they make me choose between HP and THG D’:

Best Cast: Definitely THG.

I’m sure HP had its time with best cast so its time to pass the baton to a new franchise.

I’m going to vote on who truly deserves it, and if judging by how good the book to movie adaptation was, THG wins that battle.

I’m sorry but my loyalties lie with Harry Potter.

I don’t care if it’s ‘the last one’, I felt like THG definitely had better performances than HP. It’s getting my vote.

I’m sorry, but Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was 10 times better than the Hunger Games. And the cast definitely deserves it more since they dedicated a HUGE portion of there lives to making the movies.

HP deserves to go out with a bang. The Hunger Games franchise can wait until next year!

Harry potter was WAYYYYY better than hunger games.

It doesn’t matter it was HP’s last movie they’ve had 8! That’s plenty awards for them. I can understand if its truly your favorite movie or whatever but don’t vote for them just cause its their last movie. That’s just my opinion though. I think that the hunger games is truly a great book/movie and they do deserve some awards. I also didn’t understand why they couldn’t out more into the movies of the HP because i had only read the last book and they still left out alot it seemed to me.
