Fan Trailer: Cirrus Quell – A Hunger Games Story
A teaser trailer has been released by Joshua Chislett Films for a fan-made Hunger Games film titled Cirrus Quell – A Hunger Games Story. The synopsis:
Set 51 years before Katniss Everdeen stepped foot in the arena was Cirrus Quell, the 17 year old District 7 volunteer for the 23rd Annual Hunger Games. The real reason why the Quarter Quell was created.

This seems really cool but … it’s really silly how they gave him the last name ‘Quell.” It’s called the Quarter Quell because they are ‘quelling’ any rebellious sentiments. It’s just stupid that they thought a good explanation for the title was that the last name of the guy who caused it was “Quell.” They might as well have made him “Cirrus Quarter,” ya know what I mean? But it still looks awesome

@Zinnia, it the thumbs up thumbs down doesn’t work and hasn’t ever since mockingjay.net changed its image. As far as I know its not working
@FRED We understand that Quell means to extinguish a rebellion. But pretty much all names in the book have a meaning, like Katniss meaning arrow head, or Gale meaning Stranger. Effie’s last name as Trinket which is her materialism. Prim and Rue both meaning flowers to show their resemblance symbolically and physically.
okay…this is awesome..just saying. makes me think though, I wonder if Suzanne Collins has a story about this. like J.K. Rowling knew about the world not mentioned in the books, makes me think that Suzanne might have some more insight into this. I would really like for her to see this preview and give her opinion on it.

I don’t know, I somewhat agree with @FRED, but…usually fan videos don’t appeal to me, the stories seem forced and predictable and cheesy most of the time, but I’ll definitely be watching this one so we’ll see
