Wal-Mart is offering customers who pre-order the chance to win tickets to the premiere of Catching Fire next year.

Sanity staff have told me they’re pretty confident of a pre-order offer, just not sure what it might be as yet merchandise wise.
The same goes for the UK @Brit, we have keen staffers there too

Hopefully we’ll know soon – the wait is killing me!! I expect the date will be right around the 18th for us too 
You guys should also include in the list the links to the Target exclusive DVD and blu-ray editions! They include 3rd disk with these extras: “stories from the cornucopia”, “tribute video diaries”… And something else I can’t remember!
That’s the one I pre-ordered. The blu-ray is like $28. Target generally has great exclusives… And imho the artwork for their cover is much nicer than the ones available at amazon and Walmart

This DVD is probably going to be overplayed in the first few weeks of purchasing it. So excited…its like waiting to watch the film in cinemas all over again! hehe!
Have just noticed that Fishpond are taking pre-orders for the DVD and Blu-ray now, and it says that they will be shipped on release, then underneath it has the date as the 23rd of August. So it looks as though perhaps the UK/Aus will have a release date a few days after the US.
I want to pre order but all the sites wont let me pre-order it in Canada, guess i’ll go in store and ask about it! :/ Hope I can pre-order it soon!
Is there anywhere we can buy the Target 3 disc addition in Aus ?
@Annabella – Not known as yet exactly what versions we’ll get here, I certainly hope we get the same sets as the US.
