Jennifer Lawrence was spotted earlier today headed to a business meeting with a white envelope in her hands labled “Jen Lawrence” and her meeting ended up being with ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ director Francis Lawrence in Santa Monica.

Is it me or do these pictures look kind of awkward? He’s smiling, and she’s just standing there with no expression. I hope they like eachother, or maybe I’m just over-reacting….

Anyway maybe the envelope has the script in it I don’t know how people usually get the scripts but Jen looks so adorable. I really want her shirt and necklace.

I know that Lawrence is a pretty common last name but maybe they’re related and it’s weird for them to work together. (99% chance they’re not related but who knows?)

i admit i’m very excited about these pictures, and this meeting. i didn’t think i would be, but i am.
@paige– my guess is this was a sort of informal, “get to know each other” type meeting. josh said at the MTV movie awards last week that he had lunch with francis lawrence, so i’m guessing he did the same with jen.
also, don’t actors generally get scripts via courier or via their agents? there’s a whole process for that kind of stuff. i doubt that’s what was in the envelope. and it looks pretty thin, from what i remember of movie scripts. some sort of contract, maybe?
Paige, my thoughts exactly! The extreme dress-down casual struck me as kind of forced for what (at least in Boston-NYC-DC) would be considered a business meeting. And the body language was…well, ummm….Let’s just hope the ‘meeting’ went ok!

I really hopw catching fire is Good. I love Jen lawerenc, and I hope she kicks it off well with Francis. I bet you it’s a script, I hope it is because thet means the movie is on it’s way!!!!!

Awkward pictures
Oh my goodness, this makes me very excited. It means THINGS ARE HAPPENING!
There’s nothing awkward about these pictures. More so, I imagine Jennifer made an offhanded witty comment like, “way to steal my name” And He just laughted it off like, “oh really now?” If anyone snapped a picture of me talking to somebody I’m sure I’d come off as pretty off-standish. Or they could have caught a glimpse of the camera’s following them. who knows, who cares.
People are overreacting about their body language in the pictures. It’s kinda like meeting your boss for the first time in a way (ever had lunch with the boss or even a coworker you just met?) of course it’s going to be awkward at first. Doesn’t mean they won’t like each other or they’re not going to be able to work together.
Oh, calm down down about the body language, people. I’m gonna bet 5 that they saw the cameras following them and either freaked out or got ticked. And now for my real comment:
Dear Jennifer Lawrence,
the sooner you dye your hair dark again, the better. It means that the movie’s underway, and let’s face it, it looks better on you.
OMG OMG i am sooo excited right now. did you see where there going to film? Hawaii!!!! awesome, right? but i CAN’T WAIT 527 days, 11 hours, 27 minutes, 33 seconds wait…. 3 seconds. 26 minutes- oh my god, it’s a minute less.
wow i’ll bet it’s 25 minutes now. some people are really obsessed. like Annie+Finnick 4ever. get obsessed with something else and the time will just tick away and it’ll be november 22 2013 before you know it.
