@Ali well in real life I THINK she’s a ginger and she dyed her hair for Spiderman. I wanted her for Foxface (not young enough) but if she leans out I could denfinatly see her as Johanna.

I love her and she’s one of my favorite new young actresses but she was never a choice in my mind for Johanna. LOL she so funny.

If she were in THG cast I can only think how funny she and Jenn would be together (off screen)! HA!

granted, she wouldn’t be my choice as johanna… i don’t think she’d be the best fit, and she’s already got her own franchise going on so i wouldn’t want overlap, but she’s so talented and so versatile, i don’t think she could ever hurt any movie she’s in. and of course, her and jen together in the same movie would just about blow my mind to smithereens– they’re pretty much my two favorite people ever.

Just like Katniss_LuvR-Grl, I never imagined her playing Johanna, but I definately think she could pull it off.

Oh and by the way, Emma’s a natural blonde, but she dyed her hair red for her role in “Superbad”, and kept it ever since.

WANT. I love Emma Stone, and I think she’d get that spiteful but sassy Johanna Mason charm just right.

I’ve heard people wanting her to play the Avox girl. I think I like Emma Stone better as a red head of course she looks beautiful no matter what hair she has.

I like her in general, but don’t think she’s gritty enough for Johanna.

Better than most of the other suggestions I’ve heard.I like Dianna,but I worry how she would handle such a gritty role.Sure Quinn can be a nasty character but this is a whole different level and very different setting than glee.Naya would be too predictable a typecast for me to take.So…either Emma,Jessica Lucas,Taylor Cole or someone completely unknown.(Okay maybe Dianna but she’d need to really commit.)

why is she always lookin down…is she trying to be modest, cute, shy? didn’t like her personality in the interview, but i guess that sort of fits to johanna

Why did the interviewer call her “jo-honna”. i always thought it was pronounced jo-hanna or joanna.
i’m so confused…
also i LOVE emma stone but i don’t think she would be right for johanna. in my opinon she is just too cute. i don’t think she has enough of johanna’s intimidation factor or her bitchiness. because let’s be honest johanna is a bitch…. but that’s why we love her

I love Emma Stone, not my first choice for Johanna, but I wouldn’t complain if she was cast. After seeing Easy A, she really can pull off the whole snarky, hiding a secret character.

This is awesome! She has been my first choice for Johanna for a while but I figured there was zero chance of it happening. I still think that, but I love that someone brought it up for her to react to in an interview.

NO!! She can’t be Johanna!!! I mean, she seems kinda, well, girly. We need a peson that will grease up naked for wrestleing!!!

I think she is too big of a star to be offered the Rolfe, but if she was I’d be ecstatic I love Emma.

“She’s naked, like, ALL the time!” Lol as soon as she said that I thought, this is another die hard fan right here and I agree with her about Jennifer Lawrence. If she played Johanna I’d be satisfied because she seems a big enough fan to know the character.

I think Emma Stone would be better as Annie Cresta!
