“We are incredibly excited to bring the Hunger Games experience to UK homes this autumn,” said Nicola Pearcey, Managing Director, Home Entertainment and New Media.
“This is far and away the biggest home entertainment launch in Lionsgate’s history and, further to the success of the theatrical box office, our home entertainment launch will involve a highly innovative and integrated digital and packaged media rollout which will be unveiled in the weeks ahead.
“Particularly exciting is the availability of the 15 cert cut of the film on the Blu-ray, which was unseen in UK cinemas.”

I can’t believe the 15 certificate is only available on Blu-ray! We were already deprived of watching that version, and now only people rich enough to own Blu-ray can watch it. How unfair!
the bluray isn’t that much more expensive though, is £18 on hmv for their fancy steelbook
Robyn: yes, but you need something to play the bluray on right?? :/
that’s a good point actually, I have a ps3 so didn’t consider it, sorry.
