The Hunger Games Adventures: Chapter 12 Continues!

The trees, especially when they grow behind my buildings and then decide to magically appear in front of them, are driving me crazy! :-p

The trees are definitely annoying. I also don’t have any friends playing ’cause none of my FB friends do and I would welcome anyone who’d like to help me

I was happy when the last part of this chapter ended so that I could use my energy to tend to my trees. I cut down most of them, but when this part began? Now they are all back! In one day! I don’t understand it…

Anyway, I am enjoying the game and yes, a little addicted to it. I’m in a mini-competition with my “friends” (I say “friends” because I really don’t know these people. haha, I just befriended them for the game) to see who can get the highest level (although they don’t really know about the competition and it is just one I made up for myself).

Also– apparently, in the game’s universe, the Reapings for the 74th Hunger Games are happening tomorrow. (Not actual time tomorrow, just in the game they should be happening soon).

I only started playing about a week ago, and I’ve gotten way more addicted than I anticipated. At first I thought it was just plain silly. I actually blogged about how weird and dumb I thought it was… And now I’m constantly working on stockpiling stuff. That’s so like me. XD

I cut my trees down to 7 out of 8 (or similar, basically so they’re stumps) which means they don’t block things but also don’t grow bigger. Just an idea!

One quick question: When visiting friends’ Forest Escapes, I notice that they all have gold mockingjay “stands” in their yard– does anyone know how you can get one of those?

To get the mockingjay “stand”, go to the redeem code tab and enter “ESCAPEDISTRICT12″

I am still addicted too, there’s just something about it…But the pesky trees are driving me insane. Sara, I like your suggestion, but then eventually I can’t deal with the stumps either lol

@Savanah – The Mockingjay weather vane was a special item, you got it by redeeming a code in the game. I think you might still be able to get it, if you google mockingjay weather vane for THGA it should come up, it was from movie fone or somewhere like that.

Does anyone else have trouble loading the game? I’ve tried multiple browsers, emptied my cache and installed the most recent updates for my regular browser, but for the past few days the game is stuck on the loading page

@Cathlene I’ve had some problems with the game as well. Some times it says that I can’t play because of my Adobe flash is not updated (although I’ve updated it a gazillion times). I’ve also experienced the same thing you have had before. It either gets stuck on the loading screen, or stuck right after it loads. Sadly, I have no idea how to fix it. Hopefully the problem will be solved soon.

@Cathlene have you tried Apple Safari? I had issues in Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome – the bottom of the screen was cut off – but when I switched to Safari it worked just fine.

I had the dreaded white screen yesterday – I just let it sit there and after about 10 minutes it loaded the game. I also sometimes get the messages about needing to update flash (which already is) and I just go away and come back a bit later and thankfully it works

Does anyone know when chapter 13 will come out? Because I’m done with it now. It’s starting to get boring just walking around cut down trees and gathering rocks in my forest escape. Then, just going around collecting supplies, searching trees and other things. By the way you know you can get flames from street lights? Also, if you chat with Katniss you get a Katniss Flower. Now, I’ve unlocked my entire forest escape and bought every one of the decorations and bought twice as many as the build things. In the corner of my screen where the quest would be it just says coming soon…But here’s a hint on what the next chapter will be about. It has a picture of the cartoon version of Caesar Flickerman (Played by Stanley Tucci) and it says…THE TRIBUTES ARE COMING
THE TRIBUTES ARE MAKING THEIR WAY TO THE CAPITOL.
