More Behind the Scenes as the Tributes Talk North Carolina

CNN’s Marquee Blog has another behind the scenes clip to share with us, and this time the tributes (and Prim!) talk about what it was like filming in North Carolina. Alexander describes the torture of having a lake right near the cornucopia:
“Why would you do this to us…It was so hot and we were sweating everywhere and then there’s just this lake, this beautiful lake and you just want to jump in but you can’t because it’s illegal because it’s the cities water supply…It was brutal”
I don’t know how they resisted! It’s amazing how spectacular the scenery of the arena really was, I can’t wait to see the rest of it

It’s so awesome because I ended up visiting North Carolina and 3 days into my visit I had just remembered that they filmed here. So I ended up going by places near where I am and it was sooooo cool!!!!
Why was Prim in the woods? Someone please tell me :3
I love the fact that everyone loves North Carolina scenery because I live there and we are all so tired of it because where we live there are woods and tiny towns. Nothing to do whatsoever besides hang out at Walmart haha
This might be a dumb and random question, but is the target exclusive DVD only on sale online or can you buy it in stores.

Here’s my guess: It was a deleted scene where Rue reminded Katniss of Prim. Is that the same color jacket Rue wore?
@Will, I thought so at first, but Rue’s jacket was brown while the one Prim was wearing is black like Katniss’s.
My theory is that it is a thought Katniss had, like “what if I didn’t volunteer” you know? Or maybe it was suppose to be a scene where Rue reminded Katniss of Prim, because after all even if they did that scene Rue and Prim wouldn’t have the same color jackets.
But oh well, we’ll see on the DVD I’m sure
