Official: Stephanie Leigh Schlund Cast as Cashmere in ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’

Santa Monica, CA, August 14, 2012- Lionsgate® and the filmmakers of THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE are pleased to announce that Stephanie Leigh Schlund has been cast in the role of Cashmere in the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ worldwide smash hit novel Catching Fire. A former Career tribute from District 1, Cashmere and her brother Gloss are both competing in the Quarter Quell.
Stephanie Leigh Schlund is an Atlanta, Georgia based actress who has appeared in television series including Drop Dead Diva, and films including “The Last Song”. She can next be seen in the upcoming Fox series The Following, premiering this Fall.

She reminds me of Annabeth/Alexandra Daddario from Percy Jackson xD but she looks great, attractive just like most D1 girls do. And she DOES resemble Alan Ritchson slightly so that’s a plus.

I thought we’d get old Woof today but am very happy to have Cashmere announced – and I agree with all of the comments so far, she is certainly beautiful and is a good match to Alan as Gloss. She’ll be perfect sneering and telling Katniss she looks ridiculous in her wedding dress (after that I must admit I was quite happy when she met her demise lol)

I dont know if I think she’s good because she looks like how I pictured her or if I just think she is good because everyone else does haha.I don’t remembered how I pictured her but I think she looks like she’s from district 1 based off of the actors from the first movie. But anyway her and the actor they picked for Gloss make a good brother and sister.
