Contest / Giveaway

Those of you that were laughing in sadness (like me) about Target’s high end merchandise can take heart that those items we’d counted ourselves out of the running for will be given away today starting at 2 PM CST as Target starts a Twitter party to celebrate the release of ‘The Hunger Games‘ on DVD and Blu-ray tonight! Prizes will include the 14k Mockingjay Pin, Katniss’ leather jacket, and the signed lithographs. Follow Target on Twitter and see the rules here.

Worth a try.
I’d be tempted to put that stuff on eBay though.
@Alan- as long as you don’t sell them for 1,000$, I’d definately consider buying!
I really wish I had a twitter account. Or a Facebook.
I can’t participate cause my mom works at target, this sucks
WHY THE HECK IS EVERY CONTEST VIA TWITTER/FACEBOOK?! It makes me irritated. Not everyone has a twitter or facebook and not everybody has a chance of getting the merchandise to famiy things! Other then that, best of luck to all who participate!
I just participated in this and now I know why I never try for these – they really make my heart beat fast! I can’t take things like that, lol. Good luck to everyone who entered
@Emily Good luck!
I never missed my US residency like I do right now.
@rory mellark – selling them for less than retail would be the idea.
I knew all the answers of course, but I had no chance of tweeting them all fast enough.
I might have kept the signed poster, but I have no interest in fancy jewelry or clothes (I might have kept those too if I was loaded)
I did it and i think i won!! THE PRIZES— GRAND PRIZE=14K MOCKINGJAY PIN— FIRST PRIZE=Signed Picture—Second Prize=KATNISS’S LEATHER JACKET
There must have been some incredibly fast people. I replied with the correct answers within about 15 seconds of each question being posted and no prize for me
It was fun though.
@Laura – Yeah, the people who won must have really fast internet connections. I answered within just moments of the tweets, but I didn’t win anything either. Oh well, it was fun
i hear from twitter that crystal won the pin! oh wow, congratulations, crystal! what crazy luck! you’ll have to post a photo of you wearing it when you get it.
Thanks for the congrats, yes I did win a pin!! I was so freaking nervous for the whole time. I think I took about 5-8 seconds for each answer. It’s been a great day!
Congratulations to Crystal and her super-speed typing skills!! Ditto what Carla said, can’t wait to see a pic of you wearing that pin!
I played too. Won a lithograph
I thought I was pretty fast (saw the questions within the first couple of seconds while they were posted). I had trouble type the “A#” thing, though. I had copied and pasted the THG hashtag so all I had to do was press CTRL+V. Realized afterwards that all I had to do was copy and paste the “A” thing as well. Oops.
Congrats Crystal! I recognized your Twitter name as one of the winners and had a mini freak-out moment for you.
And congrats @Justin as well!
@Congrats Justin! You’ll have to send us a picture of the lithograph when you get it!
Big congratulations to Crystal and Justin! How exciting!!
I want one of those lithographs, so so bad. Or anything signed by Jen and Josh really lol Definitely need to see some piccies from both of you!
@Erin – At least you’re kind of close, here in Oz I feel a total world away from all these cool competitions
Maybe we need to start some kind of petition, there are Hunger Games fans outside the US too lol
LOL Tash– totally! The rest of the world loves The Hunger Games too!
Thanks everyone! I will definitely upload a couple pictures when it shows up!
