DVD Midnight Release Footage with Jack Quaid and Dayo Okeniyi
Now that everyone has had a chance to recover from the DVD release of The Hunger Games this weekend, Mockingjay.net would like to give a recap of the midnight release party in Los Angeles. Lionsgate and Walmart teamed up to bring some of the tribute cast members to different Walmarts throughout the country, and in Los Angeles, Jack Quaid and Dayo Okeniyi held down the fort. Everyone was great, and we’re happy that we could be a part of it.
When we first got there, the fansites and the press were ushered into a back room at Walmart, and we had the chance to have a small, intimate Q & A with Jack and Dayo before the signings began. They are just as funny in person as they are on camera, and watching them interact together was the best part.
After the Q & A, we got to hang out and take pictures and video of all the fans coming through to meet the guys. Everyone was so excited to be there, and it was nice being able to witness it all firsthand. There were some hugs, high fives, crazy costumes, and a whole lot of The Hunger Games merchandise – everything you could possibly want at a midnight DVD release!
I could go on and on about how gracious and sweet Jack and Dayo were, and I could talk endlessly about the Lionsgate marketing and PR team – but since we don’t have all the time in the world, I’ll let you guys see for yourselves. In conjunction with Down with the Capitol, Welcome to District 12, and HG Movie Site, we have some great footage for all of you. I have a question. That guy in pictures 3 and 4 has an awesome t-shirt of District 2. Where can you get those? And can you get like from any other district? 
One of the best fansites ever, yes x) and whoa those are some pretty awesome Team Haymitch shirts. It would probably take me forever to find them for my size and gender though xP

@element– IIRC, the official store at cafepress.com was selling the district t-shirts. they have lots of different styles and colors and they’re personalized for you according to which district you were sorted into at thecapitol.pn
I love how Dayo Okeniyi wears the mockingjay pin
