Josh Hutcherson Spotted In Atlanta
Josh Hutcherson has been spotted in Atlanta, where Catching Fire will begin filming soon, according to The Buzz :
A serendipitously placed source spotted the actor at the Target on North Druid Hills Road Friday night, evidently setting up his temporary household.
“He was buying all sorts of home items with an assistant,” we’re told.
“Catching Fire,” the second in the “Hunger Games” movies, starts filming in Atlanta and beyond soon. We’re told the Georgia World Congress Center will be among the filming sites.

YAY!!! It’s about to start! I am so freaking excited to see the trailer, and what direction the movie is headed in. Maybe we can hope for one early 2013?
@Anonymous Some people were saying that we could get a CF teaser trailer with the Breaking Dawn movie (which would only be three months from mow). It’s just a theory, but I could see that happening (especially since the trailer was attached with Part 1 last year).
If you go by the THG timeline, we had a teaser on August 28th, which was about three months after filming had begun. We also had a trailer about six months after filming, which would mean the CF trailer could come out in March of next year. Of course, these are all theories.
Filming for CF will pretty much take the same amount of time it took THG to film. It’s just with CF, a lot of post-production will be needed (which is why it is coming out late 2013, and not earlier). I’m thinking that because of that, and because they most likely won’t be using a lot of the special effects in the trailers (we don’t want spoilers!), the trailers could come out earlier than they did for THG. Just a hunch.
Also– Josh Hutcherson has filmed a movie in my city before (Journey 2). It was right before he was cast as Peeta. I was wanting to meet him then, but school got in the way.
Omg! Of course he would show up the weekend I’m out of town… It would be too creepy to stalk the Target, right?!

North Druid Hills Rd/ Target!?! HOLY FRICK I live live 20 minutes away from there, assuming there’s only one Target on that road… That means I could be pretty close to the filming location if he shops near where he lives and her lives close to where he works… STALKER MODE!

My friend talked to the PRODUCER and he said catching fire is going to be in the fall!!!!!! And he said that Mockingjay is going to have 2 movies and the first one is going to be next summer!

His hair is still quite bright, but on a closer look it seems it’s getting a little darker (which is good).
Will JLawrence dye her hair for CF?

@Savanah THey had a lot less amount of time to make the Hunger Games they only had like a year for Catching fire have over a year so I think they might take their time, but you could be right.
Catching Fire will probably wrap in December before Christmas since Jennifer has to film X-Men.

On another message board someone floated the idea that she would wear a wig for CF, as she’s due to jump in to filming X-men (where she’ll be blond for mystique) right after filming for CF wraps.
I hope it’s not the case, but apparantly she was seen boarding a flight to georgia with her hair still blonde.
Omg I can’t wait they better add all the romantic moments between Katniss and Peeta I LOVE U JOSH I am so happy to say that Josh is our Peeta !!!!!

going from light hair to dark hair doesn’t take that much effort. they can always do that in atlanta. she’s already down there but they haven’t started filming yet, it’s all just prep work for now, so they still have time.
as for x-men… same principle: just because filming for XMDOFP starts in january doesn’t mean it’ll be january 1st, and it doesn’t mean SHE’LL start filming right away. and even if she does, they could always work on the “blue” mystique scenes first, while they work on making her blonde again. not to mention, mystique doesn’t HAVE to be blonde… she can change her appearance at will, after all. in the 3rd x-men movie, she had dark hair. also (have y’all figured out yet that i’m a huge x-men fan?), since she was all “mutant and proud” come the end of XMFC, she’ll probably spend a lot more time in her blue look in the sequel.
so yeah, it’ll take a few weeks to get her back to blonde, but there’s always the christmas/new years break, and the first couple weeks of january. i’m pretty sure this was all talked about when lionsgate and FOX came to their agreement about filming schedules.
