After selling 3.8 million copies on the first weekend (read more here), the DVD and Blu-Ray are still selling very well. According to Rentrak Corp, ‘The Hunger Games’ is #1 in both this week’s ‘DVD and Blu-Ray sales’ and ‘DVD and Blu-Ray rentals’ for the second week (you can check the top 10 reported by the Los Angeles Times here).
Collecting $36,971,174 of domestic DVD sales according to The Numbers, the DVD is now #7 of the top-selling DVDs of 2012, only 2 weeks after the release !
