the hulking muscles are really not my thing, but they’re right for gloss, i guess. i’m glad to hear they’ve started training for the movie. it’s goin’ down, yeah!

Oh my. Perfect though too, so much of Katniss’ fears about re-entering the arena were that this time her competitors would be strong adults, and he is going to look very intimidating and every bit the career tribute. Thanks to Alan for his dedication to the role!

This is great for Gloss, really makes for a terrifying tribute if he wants to kill you.

If Gloss is this big, I don’t even wanna IMAGINE how Brutus will be.

His dedication to the role, however small, is honorable. The perfect representation of why Katniss is petrified to go back into the Games.

He looks so much more like Finnick to me! It helps that he once played Aquaman on Smallville. Sam Claflin just seems way too small to be a believable Finnick.

The most important thing for a swimmer, is to be tall, have a broad chest, and yes be very muscular. You need big strong muscles to pull you through the water fast and muscles don’t slow you down in the water like they do in the air. The problem is you have to balance that with endurace, which makes them much more lithe.

I suppose Alan Ritchsons does make an impressive Gloss, I just mourn the fact that Gloss looks more attractive than Finnick to me

^If they’re putting a minor character who may get a grand total of four scenes through this type of workout, I’m positive that Claflin is living, breathing, and eating weights and protein shakes. Besides, Claflin is no twig or jellyroll to begin with. He’ll just add on to the muscles that’s already there.

wow! you guys don’t understand have you ever seen a huge buff guy try to swim? its a fail. swimmers build different muscles. Emily you are so right. Sam just needs to go swim a few hundred laps. we will see a difference afar that (I know from experience!)

As for the ‘Why isnt he Finnick’ comments, we haven’t seen Finnick yet, you guys! We don’t know how Finnick is gonna look like, makeup, lighting, and a good low rep workout can do a LOT. And if that won’t do it, we always have our good, loyal friend photoshop and CGI to enhance Finnicks looks. He WILL and he SHALL look hot. End of story. (trying to convince myself here too)

This is so gross! Way way too far. Can’t understand why anyone would find this hot it’s a major turn off for me, yuck! Will be VERY upset if Finnick looks like this, he isn’t meant to.

i hope sam claflin has jumped on this workout bandwagon…
