yesssss, i was JUST wondering where the rest of them were! oh, this is fantastic!

i love lynn cohen’s hair, it’s so mags, and her outfit looks a lot less awkward than i expected it to be. i literally SQUEALED when i saw the picture of jena, and did a little happy dance when i saw that jeffrey was holding a copy of mockingjay (oohhh, i can’t wait to see him in glasses!). also, it DOES appear that sam is not wearing the top part of his outfit, and his hair is the most lovely shade of bronze, eeeeee!

i think mark today on my calendar as “the day carla died.” seriously, i feel like i’ve run a marathon when i’ve actually just been sitting in front of my computer, but it’s been such a rush! everything looks so good, i can’t wait to see how it comes out.

I think the outfits (I am guessing they're the arena outfits as the way Mags spreads out implies the floatation devices will have room under just a thought) are strange, I was hoping the training outfits would be pretty much the same or very simular to the first ones although it does make sense that the capitol might change the design for every HG.

At first I wasn’t too sure about Sam Clafflin, but seeing him now makes me think that he actually might be the perfect Finnick Odair, Lynn Cohen is 1000% mags and seeing how perfectly she is depicting the character makes me look and not look forward to her in the movie, I’m gonna end up crying again when she goes.

Well since everyone’s wearing the same tights, I’m quessing those are the arena uniforms… I’m not sure what to think.

these could be the Arena uniforms, but they could also be the Training Center ones. the only thing that (for me) supports the Area possibility is that i don’t see district numbers on their uniforms.. then again, they could have decided against labeling them by districts.

also, i wonder if they’re shooting scenes already or perhaps just doing test shots, rehearsals or promotional photos or something.

to iceymoon: yeah you could be right. They are very futuristic and odd looking though, hmm… specially when you see the full uniform on lynn. Sort of like an 80′s rockstar outfit.

Maybe they’re just clothing given to the cast for training purposes (just a thought). The only reason I don’t think they are the arena outfits is because they aren’t in Hawaii. I don’t know though… BUT THEY LOOK AWESOME!!!!!!!!

There is a rumored place where they could be filming in Atlanta that would be perfect for the countdown at the beginning. So they could film that in Atlanta, and then the rest of the arena in Hawaii.

Well it’s just principal photography right now so maybe these costumes are subject to change but still! I can’t believe this time last year I was scrubbing through set photos of the first film and now we can see the second film falling into place! I’m so excited!! And Jeffrey Wright readig Mockingjay! Omg it’s happening!

Yup… they look more like a cross between wetsuits and bathing suits, so they are PERFECT

With all this tributes/victors sporting matching outfits which could be in the training or arena scenes, I’m getting all giddy but wait—-WHERE THE HECK IS KATNISS?!?

Yeah, love these pics but I wonder how they got them? By air? Many of the actors are looking up and directly to the camera. Josh said in a radio interview they would be wearing latex/neoprene bodysuits for the filming, so thse r probably arena suits.

Definitely looks like Finnick will be mostly topless throughout the film. I doubt they will do that to Johanna though…

I hope Finnick is topless throughout the whole movie!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. He def. looks better than when I first saw him after he was cast as Finnick.

It’s training, because in the shots of Jennifer you see a sign that says “Idiom” and at theb ottom of the side you see the first two letters “Tr…” as in training.

guys, remember they don’t HAVE to film all the arena shots on location. some parts have to be done in-studio. the same thing happened in the first movie, actually: most of it was filmed in the forest in NC, but some shots were done indoors– you can see in the DVD some scenes where jennifer is up in a tree but she’s surrounded by green screens. they could be doing the same here. so these could be the training center outfits, but they could very well be the arena outfits, too.

Am i the only one who pictured Finnick as having a hairless chest? Seriously, I wanna see those nice smooth abs, not all that hairyness. Sam, PLEASE shave your chest!!!!

I think these are the arena uniforms. In the book they all had the exact same one. gary only came up with the idea in the hunger games movie to give each district a different color. francis might have decided to go back and give them all the same color. also they could be doing arena scenes in a studio..or just photography

OMG! Im SO glad they didn’t give jena a male haircut like some fans wanted! Im really excited to see her acting.And am I the only one confused about the differences between lynn’s outfit and jennifer’s? Because lynn is wearing a kind of coat and jen is wearing a shirt…

they are definitely filming the training scenes this week because the casting agency that selects the extras for catching fire sent out a casting call for people to play athletic trainers and they specifically said those people had to be available to work this week (11-14 sept)

I wonder if these were taken at a place called the goat farm. I wondered if the training might be done outside or in a semi open place like a barn. there are elevated train tracks near there where people could be taking photos from above.
none of these photos show it here but I heard they will be filming a “ballroom” scene here too at the world congress center! so fangirling over all the pics. its so good to see Katniss braid!

A) The arena outfits are described a a blue fitted jumpsuit
B) I don’t see the important purple belts
C) Why would they be wearing the arena outfits in Atlanta? Filming for the arena is in Hawaii

I’m thinking that they are NOT filming the arena scenes. They will be filming that in Hawaii, not in Atlanta. I mean it’s not Rocket Science guys… You can basicly tell that they aren’t…

If they were in arena outfits, then they would be filming the arena scenes – but those are set to be filmed in Hawaii, not Georgia. These are most likely to be training center outfits.

Great pictures, I think more and more that Sam is going to be a perfect Finnick. If only a certain author had not decided to do a certain thing to him in a certain book being read by Mr. Wright… I would have been much happier if she had put Joanna in the war and done that to her instead, I like Joanna’s character but I am not too excited about Jena, she’s just nothing like what I pictures and I’m not too confident of her acting skills. Otherwise, the cast looks great, I think Amanda Plummer is going ot be a 100% perfec Wiriss!
