More Photos of the ‘Catching Fire’ Cast on Set

I’ve personally seen paparazzi camped on the top of parking garages with their long lenses trained on the door of a music tour bus. So, I’m sure there are 1 or 2 photos perched up high somewhere they found a view.
Overload? Hell yes my mind is going to explode pretty soon xD BUT I’m not complaining. Happy

By the tributes present in he pictures I’m guessing they’re shooting the cornucopia battle scene, if you think about it, it makes more sense to shoot that scene in a studio since it would be pretty difficult to find a little patch of earth in the middle of the sea and to transport all the actors, crew, equipment (and a huge cornucopia) to that place, so I’m pretty confident they would be shooting that scene in an inside set.

about when do you think thay will be in magazines?? like in costume? katniss was in ew magazine in may 2011 so when will they put them up???
Anyone else notice that the supposed girl victor arena suits are different from the guys? I noticed that the guys suits go to their ankle and the girls cut off at the knee. Interesting! The costumes look great so far though. I’m excited!!!

It’s a good kind of overload.
I think these are the arena outfits, to be honest. I know that the majority of Quarter Quell arena scenes will be shot in Hawaii, but right now I believe that they are filming the launch into the arena. When you think about it, it would require a lot of green screen work. It’s not like Lionsgate can actually install metal plates into the ocean, or have anywhere near the budget to somehow construct sandy strips of land in the precise same of a clock face (let alone permission to do so). All of that will rely on the use of green screen.
Besides, it’s an extreme workplace health and safety issue for Lionsgate filmmakers to just dump 24 actors into the middle of an ocean. By law, they would be required to give them lifejackets over their outfits, and have boats at the ready to pull them in.
So that’s what I think it makes sense that they’re shooting that initial water scene in Georgia. It explains the robes, after all. Someone suggested that the tributes were wearing robes to hide their outfits, but since Alan Ritchson, Lynn Cohen and Jennifer Lawrence have been spotted without concealing their outfits, I don’t think this is the case. More likely, they’re filming this initial arena scene in a pool and are wearing robes because their outfits may be damp. After all, the set has been reported as being close to the Aquatics Centre.
