Josh Hutcherson, Jena Malone, Jennifer Lawrence and Sam Claflin On ‘Catching Fire’ Set

Josh is looking great, just wow – you can definitely see the effort he’s put in at the gym! His dog Driver looks like a perfect match for him too, they look great walking around together

Jena’s not a fan of being snapped on set by the looks of it (and fair enough too), but I’m glad to see more piccies of her.

Maybe she had some sort of makeup on her face that she couldn’t let the cameras see. IDK, just a though.

Jennifer Lawrence seems to be hiding her face more than Jena in these photos, since she’s pulled the jacket right up to overshadow her face. With the current temperature in Georgia, it can only be because of the paparazzi. To be honest, I don’t think any of the actors particularly like having candid photos shot of them on set. I’d imagine that they might feel a little self-conscious, plus it would be just plain irritating to be distracted by having to take evasive action while you’re trying to get work done.

I feel a bit guilty, actually…but at the same time, I’m glad to have these photos. Does that make any sense?

Honestly, I think Josh Hutcherson is the only one OK with the paparazzi. It’s like he’s enjoying it. And fair enough that he actually carries himself well in these pictures.

Since Sam Claflin got shot shirtless, he’s been wearing the hoodie even more often. JennLaw is already hiding her face.

I’m glad that we get to see Jena, even if she’s wearing glasses. I can definitely see her as Johanna now.

I don’t blame them for covering up. When you’re on set, your main focus is supposed to be your work. It’s just an annoying distraction to have pictures taken of you. It’s just like if someone went into your work office and started snapping a ton of pictures of you and then sharing them with everyone else. It’d be a big distraction, and yeah, I’d feel a little self-conscious about it, too.

Although I hate that the cast is getting irritated by the paps, I’m still thankful for these pictures. (and I’m especially thankful for the pictures of Sam in the skin-tight training (?) outfits. Yeah, I’m looking forward to those scenes).

@Kara, yes, it does make sense. While the cameras most be a royal pain in the ass to the folks on set—we as fans love them because we get to glimpse them as our beloved characters.

I love Jena’s hair. I think it looks a lot like Johanna’s, but I wonder if it’ll be that way in the actual movie. I can’t believe how dark it is, either! I imagined Johanna as having medium brown hair that ended in pointy-ish tips just a little above the shoulders.

Oh that’s Sam Claflin, I thought that was Liam’s mouth. I was already confused cuz of the supposed tributes clothing…But those pictures don’t look a lot like Sam to me.

“He’s so cute!” Most girls my age would be saying thatover Josh; I am saying it over the puppy. Anyone else?

i was hoping jena’s hair would be lighter-colored, but i’m loving the choppiness of the cut. very johanna! if this is her final look, then i really like it.

sam and his hoodie make me laugh in a good way. guess they probably do intend for finnick to be topless for at least a portion of the film, as it doesn’t seem like he’s wearing the top part of the black outfit in any of the pictures so far. (i guess that would mean it’s the arena costume? i doubt he’d be topless in the training center, but… eh, he might, who knows). it can’t be comfortable for him to run around set topless, though, haha. it might be too… distracting, i figure, for the rest of the crew.

also, it looks like josh already has dark roots in his hair. sounds to me like they’ll have to retouch soon– maybe that’s when they’ll even out the color? (though personally i like this color on him, but it’s true that it was more ashy in the first movie, so for continuity’s sake i hope they touch it up, whether it be in real life or in the editing room).

i feel bad for them, being bombarded by the paparazzi. guess that’s the downside to filming in atlanta instead of in the middle of the forest in NC. from the angle of most of the pictures i can’t help but imagine the photographers snapping pictures while hanging from a tree or something– very katniss in a sense, but very annoying as well. as much as i love these pictures, that’s gotta suck.

Josh has had far more experience with the paparazzi – he was followed around even before he did HG – so it makes sense that he’s smiling at the cameras. I don’t think he enjoys it (no actor enjoys being followed and if they say they do, they have to be lying) but he’s used to it now so it’s more resignation on his part. Either you can grin and bear it or be surly (Kristen Stewart) or pull a Sean Penn (no one should do that!) For the other actors though, it has to be weird for them since they’re probably not used to it since none of them are that famous except maybe for Philip and Jena. Jennifer has admitted she’s having trouble adjusting to paps following her around, and she’s been getting followed ever since Hunger Games came out in theaters. In time she’ll probably get used to it too and have the same level of resignation toward it that Josh does.

I’m so pumped to see Jena and Sam after their full transformation into Johanna and Finnick

It feels like they’re trying to make Jena/Johanna the next Lisbeth Salander.

I can see them trying to hide a special costume like the grand entry one but they are just in training center outfits. We now know what they are going to look like. What’s all the hiding for and why do they need so many bodyguards ON SET

they never get a break from any pictures even when their working on the movie or being with friends

I’m just in shock how amazing the arena outfits are…black and silver are sooo aabdbsabasibiwu in E! they post photos of them Sam, Josh and Jennifer without covering and you can see the full outfits I loooove them!!

Is Josh’s hair supposed to look orange? otherwise everything is looking great!

I can’t wait to see the movie can’t they come out sooner than 2013 I mean seriously I can’t wait this long!!!
