Lionsgate Announces Remaining Cast for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’
In a very bizarre turn of casting events, Lionsgate has suddenly announced via CatchingFireCasting.com ALL of the remaining cast for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, including the elusive mystery woman, who has turned out to be an extremely terrible letdown (in my opinion). Cast includes:
- James Logan as District 5 Male
- Ivette Li-Sanchez as District 5 Female
- Justin Hix as District 6 Male
- Megan Hayes as District 6 Female
- Bobby Jordan as Blight
- John Casino as Woof
- Elena Sanchez as Cecelia
- Daniel Bernhardt as District 9 Male
- Marian Green as District 9 Female
- Jackson Spidell as District 10 Male
- Tiffany Waxler as District 10 Female
And the mystery woman is no mystery at all. She’s simply… Katniss’ mom.
Maybe the mystery woman was only put there because Katniss’ mom doesn’t have an actual name. Maybe Lionsgate called Paula Malcomson to do another movie and she refused, then Lionsgate begged and she was like hey, what could it do? You never know. Or maye they planned on making it Madge, but their budget went down, so they just put Katniss’ mother there so there wouldn’t be a blank spot. I’m upset that Madge is most likely cut, but she could be one of those ‘non-important’ characters, I hope so! They don’t have to bring her back in Mockingjay because *SPOILER ALERT* she dies. Hopefully, they’ll at least put Delly.
@Sarah: You don’t understand my comment. Look at the people listed here from 6. In the book, they are described as being in their 60′s. They don’t look like they are in their 60′s to me. Also, Annie does appear in Catching Fire. Mags volunteers for her. I think she is important and if it were me, I would have cast her for this film as an amazing surprise.

I think some characters that they have probably casted and are going to be in the movie they havent announced so that it will be a surprise. Like Romulus Thread, Bonnie, Twill. They are important characters, and they are probably going to be in the movie.
I’m not incredibly disappointed they haven’t cast Annie yet. Her appearance in the book is small, and if they didn’t include characters like Madge in the first book, why would they include such a minor appearance here?

I think they haven’t cast Annie yet for the same reason Plutarch didn’t appear in the first film. They’ll want it to be a big casting in mockingjay, so they’ll maybe have the scream sounds coming from the crowd or something…
Everyones saying that whoever hasn’t been cast isn’t going to be in it, THERES A YEAR LEFT BEFORE IT COMES OUT. there filming the bits that the current cast can do. they will probably add Bonnie and twill when they get the people
