@PatriciaKalmeij on Twitter posted a photo of a Capitol vehicle today. Black and ominous with the Capitol emblem, there’s no question this is driven by Peacekeepers. Photo is available under the cut.

I cant remember if cars were mentioned in the books to be in the capitol or even the districts, besides the one in the film that was in district 12 was the only one I saw. But regardless this looks like a really cool car and looks very military and rugged to me.
For some reason I want my car to have an emblem of the Capitol or perhaps one of the districts

@knightlock well the do mention it in the books when same time they have it in the film.
Didn’t they already have one of these things in the first movie? I mean, I don’t know if they showed it in it’s full glory or anything, but didn’t they show Peeta and Katniss riding in it in the very beginning? When Peeta was crying?
@Kenna I think this that might have been a different type car because this vehicle (the one in the picture) would be only used for military purposes,

And they do have cars in the Capitol. Katniss mentions it in Mockingjay, I think.
Maybe this is the vehicle that Effie and the gang have to travel in at one of the districts. I remember she was upset and did not like being treated like a criminal

Might be President Snow’s car when he comes to visit Katniss. Looks pretty cool.
@Kenna if I remember correctly, that was more of a carriage type thing. Did anyone else see that?
I remember that they mentioned a car in the first book and in the third book were the rebels used them to run on themselves to set off the traps. Maybe they’ll use this in a rebellion scene like district 8 were peacekeepers are filing out f the car as back up almost like a SWAT team routine!
