First Picture Of District 12 In Catching Fire ?

oh shoot. for some reason the brick walls give me the shivers. whipping scene?

(meanwhile i’m trying very hard not to wince at her calling the movie “hunger games 2.” it’s a pet peeve i’m sure many share with me).

As much as I appreciate the pic, esp since sent w/o spoilers, its funny when non-fans send photos. Does it look like district 12?? Funny.

I was thinking it could be the Hob, because the Hob was an old coal warehouse and the double doors could have been used for loading supplies. The black stuff on the ground could be coal too.
I know, feel the same about THG2 reference, but it
can be excused, cause they will be calling it: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, so the uninitiated will know that its the sequel, lol

@carla, yeah bugs me when it’s called HG2. Whipping scene was the first thing that came to my mind, but maybe an entrance to the Hob? We never saw it in the first one. They just smash cut to Katniss buying stuff from the sad lady and getting the pin.

it looks like it could be gales home or the whipping post but that is held in front of the justice building or the hob it could be anything lol

I think it might be district 7(??) That is where Johanna Mason is from right? Anyway, it looks like an ax is in the corner and the ashes on the floor might be remains of a burned tree. Of course it could be coal too, but who knows. I just thought this could very well be the lumber district

haha yeah, honestly I don’t think that relationship will last that long. He needs to single so that female Gale fans can fantasize over him!!!!! UGH. IDK what this is a pic of. Hob sounds pretty believable to me.

Just letting you know there isn’t a Hunger Games 2. There’s a Catching Fire. The second book/movie in the trilogy. Sorry, I just hate when people call it The Hunger Games 2. I sound like a b*tch but just telling you for the future I guess… I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS WEBSITE BTW IT’S GREAT THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT.
