New Pictures Of Jennifer Lawrence On The Set Of ‘Catching Fire’

Oh yay you guys did find them!!

See, I think this is the arena outfit. I would be perfectly fine if it was too, since it’s sooo epic looking. Either way, I’m just super excited. All these pictures did was prove that I can’t wait another year.

Oh and I forgot. I think it’s the arena outfit because she has her braid also, which she would only have in the arena and in training. And since we’ve already seen pictures of the entire cast in the same outfit I’m assuming that those other ones were training, and these are the arena.

@ Ben, um your wrong on a few levels. Why would she only wear her braid in training or the arena? That makes no sense, she wears a braid in district 12 and elsewhere. Also, it looks like she’s wearing a dress-like outfit and fashion boots. I really don’t think that would be what they would be wearing in the arena. Just saying

@ rory mellark The dress and boots is a completely different outfit, obviously not the one that was being talked about. That pic is prob of the actress in her own clothes not a costume.

I would say it’s while she and peers are on the victors tour in one of the districts closer to 12 because although it pretty good I would imagine as she got closer to the capital the dresses get more elaborate

@sase- no, it’s the same outfit. If you look at the first pic in the fourth row, she is wearing something over it, but it is the same costume underneath. You can see the blue, and the boots are the same too (even though you only see the tops in the other pics)

So im guessing the guy in white is a peacekeeper. If it is, then there outfits are a little different from the first film which I am ok for a change. I do like his helment and and the gun looks really cool and the rest if the outfit looks pretty good to me.

As for Katniss I think that outfit is for the victory tour scene. And maybe that peacekeeper is escorting her through the district, and I can also see there is a capitol car in the background that we saw earlier. Which could probably be used in the district to keep the riots under control while katniss is there. But just my idea.

Given that there’s lots of peacekeepers on set (the guys dress in white) and because of how fashionable Katniss’ outfit is (those boots are flawless) I’m guessing this is part of their Victory Tour.

if i’m seeing these correctly (which i might not be, since i rate at like a -13 on the sleuthing scale), she seems to be wearing two different outfits in these pictures. one is shorter in the front (you can see it in that one picture with josh, when her hair is loose), while the other one is full-length (the pictures where she’s got her hair in a braid). she does seem to be wearing those (flawless) boots in both cases, though. could be victory tour, since it’s supposed to be winter at that point, or maybe those are just more comfortable than the shoes she actually has to wear for the scenes? let’s remember these pictures are shot in-between the actual filming, so it’s possible that what she’s wearing is just transitional.

my first impression of the new peacekeeper uniforms was that they looked a bit toy-like. but it might just be these pictures– i’ll reserve my judgement until i actually see them in the movie.

jennifers head there is somthing that looks like some light thing for pictures i dont know if im crazy but is that what they use for pictures? cause i would like to see official pics with them in costumes soon

It is obviously her tribute parade costume. Her makeup is darkish. I highly doubt that she would be wearing makeup in the arena? Just saying.

Look at the photos again people it’s no way the tribute parade read the book and the description given for it and you’ll see that it’s not it and if it is its badly done however it is a brilliant dress on her on for the victors tour

Also peacekeepers don’t follow the tributes at the parade there no where near it

I meant in the Capitol she rarely wears the braid outside of the training and the arena, HOWEVER that is only if they keep up the continuity from the first movie. Geez, either I suck at explaining or people can’t read haha.

Also, that is not a dress. I’m a man and I know for a fact that is not a dress in any way. In the pictures with her hair down, she is wearing a dress. I’m referring to the braid pictures…

Guys, I think it’s one of the Insects- Katniss’ camera crew, but they changed they color of their armor.

I actually think its kinda funny that we would think that everything she wears on set is related to the movie

They may be doing a bunch of different shoots arena, tour and I think the training suits were black and white from earlier shots. Gray and black suit has more of a arena suit to me but who knows? All fun to get these sneak shots!

You just stated you’re a man. Therefore you clearly DO NOT know that in the photo she is clearly wearing a dress. I don’t even know how saying that you are of the male gender justifies your knowledge of what is a dress or not, but clearly you can’t tell what is a dress -___-
