QUESTION
Did thg start filming in may 2011? Because official photos in magazines came in may 2011 so does that mean we should be getting some offical pictures soon? Like before December? I know no one knows for sure but if you estimate the time it took for thg when will it come during catching fire?

I think that this IS D11. Why else would there be a little girl on the stage?

I’m missing the little girl on the stage everyone keeps mentioning, but I’m sure everything that leaks is just gonna be a tiny part of the actual movie, haha!

I also like to see them rehearsing (Jennifer Lawrence wearing a bathrobe, WHAT!), is quite interesting to see this

@Addy THG started filming at the end of May/beginning of June. The first stills came out right at the end of July. The pictures from May were a photoshoot Jen did, two months after her casting. We got our first teaser trailer at the end of August. Following that pattern… CF stills should be here before mid-November; if a photoshoot was done for the new tributes, they should be here before October ends; a teaser trailer should be here before Christmas.

I know some people are thinking Lionsgate might attack the teaser to the Breaking Dawn movie, just like they did last year. If that is true, then that means that a teaser would be out right before November 16th.

@Savanah I really dont think we will see a teaser trailer next month. We cant follow the timeline from the months after filming because filming for catching fire was shorter than the hunger games and we have to wait many months later for Catching fire after filming instead of the Hunger Games. Instead we should go by how many months we got our pictures and teasers before the movie came out. So we got our first teaser 7 months before the movie came out, that would mean we would get a teaser in april of next year. We got our official trailer 4 months before the movie so we should get the catching fire trailer in July. It would just be way to early to have the teaser for Catching fire the same year we got the Hunger Games movie.

@Knightlock I personally believe that CF is being back so far because a)films that come out in November are often looked at for award purposes (it’s just usually most of the Oscar contenders come out in the last two months of the year, and b)post-production is going to take a lot of time with CGI. With such a long gap between films, they need to keep the hype up (non-obsessive fans like us won’t be checking the fansites). If they can prepare the footage they already have, and it doesn’t need heavy CGI, I don’t see why they can’t release it at the end of the year to say, “Hey! You know this Hunger Games thing? There’s a sequel coming out next year!”.

Do I think that the teaser will come out next month? No, not really, it’s way too early– but crazier things have happened. I don’t know. Maybe I’m holding on to this wishful thinking. Having been “a part” of all of the THG press photos/trailers, I know that just a few seconds of footage can get movie fans buzzing and book fans obsessed for months.

I believe the little girl is the blob of white (her jacket) and she’s sitting down, she is to Josh’s right but is on the left of the picture, underneath the third banner.

I dont think that’s a little girl, I believe it’s a peacekeeper that’s just leaning against the stage, as if you look closely you can see the peacekeeper’s outfit.

@Victoria I know yout right. When everybody was saying oh there’s a little girl on stage I was all like where?? Lol So I saw @tash say where the little girl is and I said that’s not a little girl that’s a peacekeeper.

I know, when I saw someone else say they saw a little girl I was like ready? So I started looking really closely at it and I couldn’t see the little girl, and the only thing I kept seeing was the peacekeeper, and then when @tash said where to look I said what you said @Chelsea that’s not a little girl that’s a peacekeeper.
