The Hunger Games: Catching Fire filming is still thundering along and the call for extras are still coming in from CL Casting. Pale and thin background actors are being sought to work tomorrow. Where are they filming?
Atlanta, Georgia. The rumour is that filming on Wednesday and Thursday will take place at Atlanta Motor Speedway. But this call could be for 2nd unit filming

Not at all, Fran. Second unit filming is other scenes that may not feature the main actors. Sometimes it is action scenes or filming cutaways, pick-up shots or establishing shots that will be edited together to give the scene more depth. For example in the first film the riot scenes in District 11 were 2nd unit filming, shot by Steven Soderbergh… hope that actually made sense!
