Jennifer Lawrence covers Elle Magazine's December issue

Jennifer Lawrence will be on two alternate covers for Elle Magazine’s December issue, from a photoshoot by Anna Wintour. Our Katniss will be featured in an article titled “Jennifer Lawrence: From Indie star to Hunger Games bombshell.” It will touch upon the evolution of her career and celebrity status, including what she thinks is her most “horrible” flaw (but most fans believe is a very endearing trait): blurting out her every thought during interviews.

“I told reporters [on the red carpet that] I felt like a Chihuahua and I felt like peeing my pants,” she said. “I never know what’s going to come out of my mouth and it’s horrible!”

Which cover do you prefer? Also, check out more pictures from this absolutely gorgeous photoshoot under the cut!

Yeah, I love how Jen never knows what she’s gonna say during her interviews. Makes her seem so HUMAN… and so Katniss. ;)

(The best part is that even when she says something she thinks is embarrassing, we love her even more. :D )

@SKW. I love it too! Makes her seem so down to earth, and not like some snobby Hollywood actress who thinks she’s above everyone else.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the pictures. Maybe it’s the hair, idk. But she looks too different. Either that, or they photoshopped it too much, xD

sadly Jennifer is becoming a model and not a Actress

@judah clark They both go together. If you’re an actress, then you’ll be thrust into the modeling world. What’s sad is when actresses are known for their beauty and not their acting capabilities. That’s when it comes less about the talent and more about marketability. It seems like Jen is keeping a happy medium. :)

I really like picture #6. Jennifer doesn’t look anything like her usual self in the magazine covers. I sort of like the magazine cover on the right but I feel that her dress is a little too showy up top. The other magazine cover just seems weird to me. Her all wet like that.

Jennifer is already and actress and becoming a very marketable one, whih is why all the photoshoots and interviews. To say she is a model, does not do her justice. She has filmed movies back to back pretty much since her oscar nomination for Winter’s Bone. I agree that the photoshoots are different and she does look better natural, but it also allows her to explore the artist side of her and try new things.
