New Photos of ‘Catching Fire’ Cast in Hawaii

I can not remember the description of their outfits in Catching Fire but do their outfits in the movie match the books?

I think their arena outfits were blue in the book.. not sure.
@Jadie F- Not exactly; in the book they were described as being fitted blue jumpsuits made of sheer material with a six-inch wide padded belt covered in shiny purple plastic. So, they’re pretty close, but you can see the differences. No belt, different color suits. Also, the weapons are supposed to be go,den, but once you look at those weapons I don’t think you could complain!

The arena outfits were blue with wide purple belts. I like these ones better than the ones in the book, though. The outfits in the book looked comical in my mind.

I think the colors of these suits are supposed to reflect the colors of a mockingjay. You can even interpret the pattern on the suits as similar to a bird’s feathers. This is one creative liberty I definitely approve of!

Awesome photos. I love the Tributes’ outfits and am shocked how much Mags in the movie looks like how I pictured her while reading the book.
