@brooke– she’s standing near where jen’s head is (jen is the one josh is holding). right to the left of the guy with the grey baseball cap. you may need to squint to see her because she’s hard to distinguish from the background.

The fact that she’s almost camouflaged makes it so much more exciting when you see her! Axe tucked in on her hip! Yes! Cannot wait to see Jena!

Should Johanna not be covered in blood rain?

@Jack– i doubt they’ll include that, it’s way too tarantino for a PG-13 movie. or if they do include it, she could always have washed it off already… they’re at a beach, after all.

There’s two other tributes in the second picture on the right. One is in the trees wearing sunglasses. And the other is sitting on the beach. I can’t exactly make out who they are. Any ideas??

I was at first worried Jena wasn’t going to be that Johanna Mason we all wanted but after seeing this, I can’t wait and it has taken all my doubts away!

Ohh!! I have been waiting and waiting for a shot and I am not disappointed – Jena looks perfect! The axe looks fantastic as well, those careers better watch out!

That would be weird if they were actually filming for the movie in this scene and it was in the movie and you didn’t notice any of the extra people on the beach and in the water.

I pictured her hair as being more layered than straight bangs.

@sharkz!anon: You can show nudity in PG-13 as long as it’s not sex-related. Although I think they’ll probably just show her from the back and waist up, PG-13 allows full frontal nudity – e.g. A Room with A View is PG-13 and it has a scene with full frontal nudity by three men, you see everything (they get their clothes off to swim in a lake and when they get out, they run across a party of a girl, an older woman and the girl’s priggish fiancee, who they know; it’s a very cute and funny scene).

We need to ignore the color of it since it’s probably wet and this pics quality is horrible. About the “spiky short hair”: The only phisical discription we have from johanna in the book is “spiky hair” and ” wide-set bron eyes”, nothinga bout it being short, thats just what most fans presumed (and I must addimit I’m extremely happy because it’s long, cause i think ‘I’m the only person who would HATE to see that men-short hair that people expected).

When you look at ‘spiky hair’ on google, it is all short hair, like pixie cuts or short hair the way a lot of men wear it.

Anyways – YAY!

AM I the only one who thinks the red in Johanna’s hair s blood?

I hate who they casted as Johanna…I think she was supposed to appear-or so how I imagined- to be stronger…She looks really skinny.

@HungerGamesFever: She is not supposed to appear “stronger”. She won her Games by fooling everyone into thinking she was a weakling until revealing herself to be a vicious killer when the time came. That would’ve been far less convincing if she were big and strong.

If that’s blood on Jena’s hair, does that mean her dive-suit supposed to be stained by blood-rain too?

I think people was expecting the kind of short she was wearing when playing ROCKET in Suckerpunch…

At least that’s the hair length I was expecting, but some of you are right this is a low res picture and we can’t make too many assumptions/judgments based on it.

One of my favorite scenes in CF is when Johanna walks around naked and Katniss is all embarrassed. Lol! I wonder if they’ll try to incorporate that into the movie? Tastefully of course.

I expected her hair to be spiked, I don’t really particularly care for the hairstyle they’ve given her. I look forward to that elevator scene more than anything else in the film.

The elevator scene is a favorite of everyone’s, I think, just like Finnick and the sugar cube. They could easily show it without any nudity, just by having her unclasp the tree costume at her shoulder, follow a bit down a bare back, and then showing her step out of it at her feet. Then showing her bare shoulders for the conversation and Peeta and Katniss’s reactions.

I really don’t like who they cast as Johanna, I’m sure Jena is a great actress, just not right for me! Everyone knows she is meant to have short hair, so why does she have a bob?

I’d love to see the elevator scene! And the one where Katniss and Finnick stare at Peeta!! Hopefully, Francis will put some funny scenes in CF. In HG, I was looking forward to seeing Haymitch barfing in the train and hugging Effie at the reaping.

The same way Josh doesn’t really have Peeta’s hair (I mean the style, not the color), Jen doesn’t look like a 16 year old who any male tribute could beat with 1 punch or Clove isn’t tall and strong and so on

Those are things that go overlooked in these movies because to the directors they don’t actually have any weight in the story, they are just details fans are fond off…

@JustMe – it’s possible. And showing Johanna being Johanna, look all intimidating and Katniss uncomfortable. I still lol sometimes when I remember that.

Didn’t anyone else imagine Johanna’s axe being a little more cool, bigger, deadly looking rather then just a simple kinda small axe? No? Just me? Ok :/

A small axe is easier to throw.

that is not blood in Johanna’s hair.. it is a red streak in her hair that is there throughout the entire movie
