Hunger Games Young Cast Makes “Breakout” Lists
It’s not just Jennifer Lawrence who’s garnering media attention come the end of 2012! Other members of our talented young cast have made appearances in different entertainment sites’ top lists for this year.
Josh Hutcherson was included in Yahoo!’s list of 2012 Breakout Stars, for his role as Peeta in The Hunger Games. Several other talented young actors and actresses were listed, such as Ezra Miller and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and out of all of them, Josh took the #1 spot! How cool is that?
Meanwhile on a different corner of the internet, Amandla Stenberg was named the #1 Breakout Kid by Entertainment Weekly, among competitors from Moonrise Kingdom, the Twilight Saga, and others. Be sure to check out EW’s other “Best of” lists, as the HG movie gets mentioned a few times, including Rue’s death scene at one of their “Best Crying Scenes”, the companion album as one of their “Best Soundtracks,” and an old interview with Linda Flowers on the hairstyles for the movie as part of their “Best of Behind the Scenes” section.
