Hunger Games Stars are Winners at the Critics Choice Awards 2013
It was a great evening for ‘The Hunger Games’ star Jennifer Lawrence, who took home awards in the categories of Best Ensemble Cast and Best Actress in a Comedy for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’. Her role as Katniss also showcased Jen’s multiple skills as she also won Best Actress in an Action Movie:
“Critics aren’t so bad,” Lawrence said when she took to the stage to accept the award for Best Actress in an Action Movie for “The Hunger Games.” “On behalf of the entire crew of ‘The Hunger Games,’ all the sweat was worth it. It was so hot filming that movie.”
Not to be left out Philip Seymour Hoffman (who was not in attendance) won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in ‘The Master’.
Congratulations to both Jen and PSH! Here’s hoping they might have some Oscar success this year too
