Jennifer Lawrence: Catching Fire Shoot “Was Probably Harder”

MTV’s Josh Horowitz got the chance to interview Jennifer Lawrence at the Critics’ Choice Awards last night, mainly to get her reaction to her Oscar nomination, but he also touched upon her upcoming projects, such as X-Men: Days of Future Past and of course Catching Fire. Jen spoke about Francis Lawrence (whom she jokingly calls “Francy” and “Fran Solo”) and how tough this shoot was compared to the one for the first movie.
Jennifer: There were a lot of six-day weeks, and the schedule was exhausting. But it’s just so fun to get back with everybody. It’s pretty much the same crew, and obviously Josh [Hutcherson] is the same. [Laugh] And seeing everybody, and Francis is such an amazing visionary, I think he’s doing an incredible job.
Alluding to her unintentionally giving Josh Hutcherson a concussion during the filming of The Hunger Games, she reveals she still can’t break the habit of unintentionally injuring people while filming:
MTV: Did you kick anybody in the face this time? Did anything happen like that?
Jennifer: I kicked myself. Only I didn’t kick myself, I hit myself in the face with an 8-pound carbon fiber bow. [Laugh] My own arm betrayed me.

I just love her and I love when Josh(MTV) Horowitz interviews-he has a great rapport with his guests and they trust and open up to him . Great interview with Jen -just as great as his interview with Josh Hutcherson in November.

Probably one of my favorite things is how close Jen has gotten with Josh. Between all of the various interviews for the various different things, you can tell that she is just so comfortable with him. It’s always fun!
