‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ to Finish Shooting in March
It looks like Jennifer Lawrence’s scheduling conflicts between Catching Fire and X-Men was never fully resolved, either that or shooting fell behind schedule? In a short interview posted on the Belfast Telegraph, Jennifer Lawrence talks a bit about it.
“We’re kind of on a little break, we’ll go back and finish principal photography in March sometime I think,” she said.

I bet that partial reason for this is because it’s the award season. Jennifer is gonna be doing a lot ot shows and press probably. It’d be too hard for her to fly back and forth all time.
X-Men starts in April so that won’t be a problem. Awards season is above all so they had to accomodate her schedule and take a break. Plus if she wins the oscar Lionsgate’s head would explode.
Russ Bowen said that reshoots are going on in March due to technical issues.
It would crack me up if the “technical issues” was the fact that they were shooting in Hawaii in DECEMBER when it rains almost all the time. (and it totally was raining a lot)
Not only issue with Josh’s hair but Jens hair has been growing out and Liam’ s hair was also lighter at the People’s Choice.

Maybe it is not the entire cast tho-doesn’t Josh start filming his new movie in Panama in March? And if I remember correctly Liam might be doing premieres for his new movie at that time.
Better this than a rush job, I guess. Hopefully Josh et al won’t have to drop out of their upcoming projects.
This could just be a few scenes with Jennifer only, or maybe they are ‘re shoots’ and Jennifer is just calling it part of principal photography.
What I’ve read in another site was that they had some technical issues and so they were gonna need to reshoot some scenes in March.
@fczc– josh is filming a movie in panama? now that i’m NOT THERE? geez, i have the worst luck EVER!
meanwhile, i always figured they could do re-shoots at some point, originally i thought it could be after x-men but now that the shoot for that’s been postponed it makes sense they’d go back and re-do whatever needs re-doing. if this is true (and not just jen being mistaken), i hope it won’t affect their other projects, though i’m sure all the legal back-and-forth will be dealt with accordingly.
Technically ALL re shoots are because of ‘technical’ issues.
I’m glad they’re re shooting scenes though, it just means they’re making sure all the footage they’ve got is at the best quality.
I wonder whether these shoots will require them to return to Hawaii or Atlanta. Many of these actors are involved in other projects, so I hope it all works out with minimal inconvenience for them.
I’m not too worried. It’s just reshoots. Seems pretty standard to me, especially since it seems like they’re waiting till after award season.

but josh’s hair is back to brown, unless they noticed it after they were done shooting cause I recall reading somewhere that they were already supose to be done with shooting THG CF.
People, nowadays reshoots are almost part of the normal shedule for most movies. So unless these reshoots are because lionsgate hates it all (which I doubt, since Nina said Francis was the perfect choice) we’d allready know. They probably just need some extra shots here and there, or there are indeed some technical difficulties. If Josh’ hair is allready back to brown, then it probably wasnt scheduled. But since lionsgate is still going strong with those promotions (Motion Teaser Poster, Teaser Poster) I doubt its anything major.
@SPM-hey do you think they might be doing some reshoot a because they read the comments on the other stories on this website? You know the comments expressing some not being pleased if K and Ps relationship and the male lead(s) characters not being fleshed out enough?

Don’t want to open up that can of worms again but was just thinking that there was enough people here and on Tumblr feeling so strongly that they may have heard?
