Vote For Catching Fire in Round #3 of the MTV Movie Brawl 2013

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is in to the Quarter-Finals of the MTV Movie Brawl 2013. Now, the second part of our favourite franchise goes head to head with The Host, starring Saoirse Ronan and Diane Kruger, adapted from a novel by Stephenie Meyer. MTV has its prediction:
Katniss Everdeen took down the powerhouse combo of Will and Jaden Smith’s “After Earth” with ease, blasting into the third round of the Brawl by more than 20,000 votes. It was a stiffer competition between “The Host” and “Beautiful Creatures,” with the new Stephenie Meyer adaptation squeaking past its competitor by 6,000 votes. Smart money puts the win in the “Hunger Games” column, then — but if the full force of Meyer’s fan base comes out to play, the Brawlers of Panem could be in for a rude awakening.
Let’s be one of the last 4. Keep voting here! Thanks to Ximena for the tip.

Voted for Catching fire like 20 times now
I like Saoirse Ronan, but I can’t live in a world were Suzanne Collins’s creations are not on top of certain other lame writers…
Voted 12 times. Increased the lead by .02 percent.
Let’s go, Gamers!
I like them both too much to vote for round three
Okay team! We need to vote for the hobbit against mortal instruments because they have a huge following and since catching fire will (for sure) beat the host, TMI has to loose! If it wins, we will have a very hard ine trying to beat it.
I thought The Hobbit had a bigger fanbase than The Mortal Instruments?
City of Bones seems to be our biggest competition. I really dont care where anyone ends up landing as long as we’re the winners of the brawl. The Spark you guys!!!
The Host is a brilliant story, and I am highly anticipating that movie! But I love CF just as much, it’s just to hard to decide!!!
I think Catching Fire will beat The Host, if only by slightly.
I think The Mortal Instruments & The Hunger Games showdown will be the most interesting.
Looks like The Mortial Instruments might be the next IT Franchise.
Guys, there is NO WAY Mortal Instruments is going to be the next big franchise. It’ll pull Percy Jackson numbers and that’s it. But the fact that we’re losing to it really says a lot.
Vote for ‘The Hobbit’ so TMI doesn’t make it to the final rounds!
We don’t need competition! And keep voting for Catching Fire as many times as you can, and tell all your friends/followers to do so too.
And are you guys serious, you’re on a HG website but you can’t choose between The Host or Catching Fire?
Off-topic, but… a new layout!!! It’s going to take some getting used to (just like when you guys switched it up the last time), but it’s very pretty– I like it!
Glad you do Savanah!!
it’s very HGGirlonFire now!
Go vote for CF now! Catching Fire is only ahead in votes by 2 %! I love The Host, but Catching Fire needs to win this! Come on, tributes! Vote like your life depends on it!
I love CF, but The Host is my favorite book, and a better and with a more important story. It’s Saoirse up against Jennifer, it’s a close one, but Saoirse is THE next Meryl Streep. They’re both my favorite actresses, but Saoirse needs to shine. Besides, I’d like to see The Host win this against all odds (pun intended). Just like Crane, I like the underdogs. I never thought it would be this close, but now I actually find myself care about who wins or not.
I’m actually looking forward to The Host more than the rest of those movies but nothing beats Catching Fire as my most awaited film of the year.
The Hunger Games lost 2012 to Twilight fans (seriously, cosmopolis won because of robert pattison) and now Twihards are voting for The Host and we’re gonna lose our second year. It’s not fair, get voting guys!
I understand it’s possible to love two things at once—but you’re on a Hunger Games website. If you liked The Host or Mortal Instruments more, why wouldn’t you be on that fansite instead? Not saying you should . . . just an “observation”. But we did already lose to Twilight—that’s sort of a “fail” on our part if the majority of the HG fandom hates it. =/
@Charlotte, not to be rude at all, but how’s it “better”? Neither is “better” because it is entirely opinion-based. I’ve read The Host and liked it, I’ve read all of The Hunger Games Trilogy and liked it, so I don’t get where this “more important” and “better” is coming from. They’re both fictional stories with outrageous events and plots to tell, I don’t see how either will/would benefit someone in reality other than someone who is into that kind of reading genre.
@Rebecca: With that logic, you can’t say anything is “good”, because it is entirely opinio-based. Also, one movie can be better than another. Pulp Fiction, for example, is better than The Room. I will go as far as saying that’s a fact.
Everything I write is only my opinion, do you really believe I speak for you when I say I think The Host is way better? Just to be clear, I don’t. I thought that was pretty obvious.
Both THG and The Host have some pretty important stories to tell, but from my perspective, The Host is much more general when it comes to the moral of the story. It is criticizing our ****** up society and I like that. Ancother reason I think it should win is because it needs the publicity. Catching Fire doesn’t.
