Important reminder, everyone: Today is the last day to vote for Catching Fire on round #4 of the 2013 MTV Movie Brawl. We thought the previous round was tough, but it’s got nothing on this one as Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters has been giving us a serious run for our money– we’re trailing behind by mere hundredths of a point as of the moment of this post!
So if you haven’t voted yet, make sure to do so today so Catching Fire can move on to the final round. Let’s show them how excited we are for this movie! You can vote as many times as you want here.

But seeing how tight it is with a movie that was a failure to the fanbase (and thw rodl really… it sucked) in their first installment we have no chance against Mortal Instruments whose fanbase its on the internet 24/7
while i personally liked the first PJO movie, it’s true that most of the fandom hated it… but from what i’ve seen in the fandom these days, what’s been leaked far for SoM has renewed people’s hopes that they might actually follow the book on this one. so i guess that accounts for some of the votes. the rest, i’m sure, has a lot to do with fandom rivalry (which is kind of funny to me because i’m part of all these fandoms, haha).
i’m obviously voting for CF, but honestly, i wouldn’t feel bad if the movie lost to either PJO or TMI. at least we know there’s real fandom behind those votes– not like last year’s loss against cosmopolis, which still irks me.

Unfortunately some of the HG fan base does not troll MTV and think this “brawl” has little relevance; TMI is out in full force though. Plus, the Twi fan base hates the success of THG and is probably voting for PJ.
It’s rigged! I don’t know why but whenever I vote for Catching Fire, Percy Jackson goes up and Catching Fire goes down.
It’s not rigged. It’s just a VS thing which means the more popular vote goes to the Demigods (Percy Jackson). If we keep voting that will stop and go to the Tributes (Catching Fire). People please don’t hate me if I am a fan of Percy Jackson. I belong to 5 fandoms. Hunger Games (Tribute). Percy Jackson (Demigod). Angelfall ( Angel). And My Little Pony (Bronty). Don’t make fun of me or my fandoms. And My little pony is not a baby show if any of you think that.

I am a HUGE fan of both series, but come on pjo fans, the first movie SUCKED. It was seriously the WORST book to movie adaption I have ever seen. And you can’t fix the mistakes they made because they didn’t even introduce the main villain of the entire series or the main prophecy or anything. Plus the actors are WAY too old. And what I don’t get is how rude all the pjo fans are about the movie and how they are annoyed that they’re making this one, but they still absolutely want to win the movie brawl. Like, sure, I don’t really care who wins myself and I’m not really voting but I just don’t get it. They say that there isn’t any news at all about the movie, which is true but they just said that they weren’t even excited.
So anyway, I have a lot more faith in Catching Fire and I wish they’d just stop making the pjo movies because it’s just going to be painful to watch.

Okay I agree we have no chance against the Mortal Instruments, even if we do win this! But seriously, I got blocked for a cooling off period! We have to at least get to the finals!
Voting hint on the MTV site – vote 48 times, wait 5 minutes and vote 48 again and you can vote all day and never get blocked. Also – I agree with Carla about still being irked about Cosmopolis winning last year. Let’s go tributes – time is running out for this round!!!!!!
ITA w/Cosmopolis – so how can anyone take this poll seriously? TMI will crush CF – because on general it is a younger fandom; they already have a (good) teaser trailer out; and the movie is released earlier. Will it be a better movie or be bigger domestically than CF – no way.
The poll that really matters most is the Box Office Gross that we will see in November. We will crush everyone (except Iron Man 3, which will be close.).

I personally enjoyed the first PJO movie (not a fan of the books so I had nothing to compare to, thought it was a fun fantasy flick.) so I am quite excited to see a sequel although I am personally voting for CF, I wouldn’t be overly gutted if we lost to PJO.
I would want CF/PJO to be victorious over TMI, although I am looking forward to that aswell.
I think the voting goes until noon today – vote, vote, vote tributes!! Even if we lose we win because #1 – MTV is stupid and who cares and #2 – we will shoot an arrow through their heart at the box office in November.
My votes aren’t going through! They were before, and last night too. Now I’m trying to vote and it’s not working. Meanwhile, Catching Fire’s lead is in a steady decline. We’re almost tied again.
