“Catching Fire” Filming to Return to Hawaii for Nine More Days
In an interview with the UK’s Daily Mail, we learn a little bit more of Jennifer Lawrence’s recent filming in New Jersey with Liam Hemsworth, plus the fact that filming for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be returning to Hawaii for nine more days!
The actress has been recovering from a nasty flu bug, which was not helped by recent filming on the second Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire. She was shooting outside, in freezing weather, in only a T-shirt.
‘That probably wasn’t the best for my sickness,’ she said, wryly.
Luckily, the remaining nine days of filming, in her role as Katniss Everdeen, will take place on location in Hawaii.

guess that explains her previous comments about this being more of a “break” and having to go back in march. hopefully the hawaii weather will be more forgiving on her health this time!
Doing anything while you are sick with the flu is the worst and Jen had to be outside in a t-shirt. That definitely wouldn’t help. I hope she feels better. Lots of soup!
I figured they were up in New Jersey for added realism in winter scenes, but why then would Katniss be “in only a t-shirt?”
So.. those ´nine days´ take place in March? Ok…

Has anyone heard which actors will need to travel back to Hawaii? For sure Jenn— and if it is the arena then Josh and Sam –possibly most of the other victors?
